It was another day with the new group of five she met and she spent it hunting for deer with Carol and Tyreese while the girls stayed at the house. Three were walking around the woods taking in the quiet when Eloise spoke up.

"I think the girls like it here. Mica woke me up at like 6am to pick flowers with her." Carol nodded her head. "Yeah. We could build it up, plant more food. We could find a car for an escape route just in case." Eloise smiled at the idea and continued walking back to the house mindlessly, not realizing the two adults had stopped.

Eloise stared at her black converse squishing in the mud as she walked closer and closer to the house. The sound of leaves crunching ahead of her made her look up and lock eyes with Lizzie who was looking directly at her with a chilling smile.

Eloise smiled back at the girl before her eyes traveled down to Lizzie's crimson colored hands and an all too pale Mica lying down on the ground with her eyes closed and chest covered in blood.

Eloise felt a knot form in her throat as she looked back at Lizzie who was still looking at her with a big smile.

"Don't worry, Lou. She'll come back. I didn't get her brain." Lizzie sang out to her, taking a step closer to Eloise, making the terrified brunette immediately take one back.

"We just have to wait, Lou, and then she'll come back." Eloise absentmindedly nodded her head before the sound of Judith gurgling brought her back to what was happening. Eloise took a step closer to Lizzie slowly, giving her a kind smile and began to play a part to get the baby.

"Lizzie, can I grab Judith? We don't want her too close to Mica when she wakes up." Lizzie stares at Eloise for a second before turning to Judith. "She can change too. I was just abou-" "She's a baby, Lizzie." Elise quickly cut the girl off, trying to say anything that would make something switch in Lizzie's brain for her to agree on Eloise taking the baby. Lizzie looked back at Eloise, her eye roaming the brunette face for anything that could help her answer before nodding her head.

Eloise slowly walked passed Lizzie and as soon as she was close enough to Judith, she scooped her up and faced her away from Mica, placing a protective hand against her head.

"Don't worry. She'll come back. I didn't hurt her brain." Lizzie repeated and Eloise turned around facing Tyreese and Carol who had just shown up. Carol locked eyes with the scared Eloise for just a split second and motioned for the girl to stand with them which she immediately did, hiding behind Tyreese.

Carol took a step towards Mica and in a one quick motion, Lizzie pointed her gun at Carol . "No. We have to wait. I need to show you. You'll see. You'll finally get it. We have to wait."

"Lizzie, put the gun down." Tyreese slowly spoke and Lizzie whips her head towards him. "I just want us to wait." Lizzie cried and Eloise softly pushed Judith's head into her shoulder.

"We can wait. If you give me the gun. We can wait, I swear." Carol pleaded and Lizzie finally gave her the gun. "Lou can take Judith back to the house, you and Tyreese can make some lunch. And I'll just tie Mica up. So she won't go anywhere."

Tyreese leans towards Eloise's ear as Carol and Lizzie talk. "Go take Judith with you to your room and lock the door. Don't open it unless it's me or Carol." Eloise nodded her head and scurried passed the two and into her room, locking the door as soon as it closed and lied down on the bed, Judith safely in her arms.

...

A few hours had passed a Eloise had held Judith in her arms as she slept, quietly singing the words to any songs she could remember when a sudden gunshot echoed around her. Eloise flinches, her voice shakes as she sang, making Judith stir in her sleep. For the next few minutes, she tried to get her mind off the fact that now both girls were gone until someone knocked on her door.

"Lou, it's Tyreese." Eloise stood up and opened the door to find Tyreese with tears in his eyes. "You need to start packing, we're leaving tomorrow." Eloise furrowed her brows. "Leaving? Where are we going?"

Tyreese sniffled before looking back up at her. "We saw signs about a place before we got here. Terminus. We're gonna look for our group and... and we want you to come." She looked at him with big eyes. "Really?" Tyreese only nodded his head again. "You're one of us now. So you start packing up and I'll take Judith to her crib."

Eloise slowly nodded her head and handed the baby to the man. Tyreese mumbled a tiny 'goodnight' as Eloise closed her door and started to pack. After two months, she'd finally leave and maybe Jasper. Eloise picked up the miniature polaroid she kept by her bedside.

A photo of her and her brother merely days before the apocalypse, she was smiling brightly, her hair crazy from the wind as she leaned her head a top of Jasper's, who was giving her a piggyback ride, trying to playfully shake her off. Eloise smiled at the photo, running her thumb over Jasper's face and sighing.

...

Early the next morning, Tyreese had woken Eloise up, telling her it was time to go. She grabbed her two small duffel bags and put one on each shoulder. She grabbed the photo of her and Jasper, looking over it one last time before shoving it in her back pocket and going to get Judith.

As they walked out of the house, Eloise tried everything to not look at the two gravestones that stood next to each other, not wanting to think about the haunting experience just a day prior.

Carol opened the gate for the four of them to leave, never looking back on the place again.
