A Sizzlin' Summer

Part 5

The last supper*
Crazy to think that summer had yet just started and now it's already over, all the fun, partying, staying out late, eating healthy, all the joy they felt during the summer just took a fire and burned to the ground. They can say that they we're lucky to see each other for a little while without it having to be on FaceTime... "C'mon Tess, it's not the end of the world. We'll see each other soon enough, I'll try to come visit you" said Tristan and at that moment everyone broke down in tears while having their last supper, they we're unable to eat properly, they couldn't stop crying and had to pack their luggage because of their flight. They ended up packing their luggage and got out the house to admire it one last time and took a selfie in front of it to never forget what they had done this summer, they hopped in the car and headed to the airport, everyone had tears in their eyes just by looking around and seeing how beautiful the place was, they arrived at the airport and got out the car still sobbing. Got inside the airport and checked in to catch their respectful flight, one last look, one last hug, one last kiss well at least Keith and Tess because Aria was going to NYC with Ambrose since it was all she ever wanted. Their final goodbyes was painful, they had to watch one another catch their flight, Keith and Tess were the last one to finally leave Greece, they hugged each other like never before in the hope of seeing one another in the upcoming months and there was the lady at the counter telling all the passengers that the flight to California was leaving soon, Keith saw the pain in his girlfriend's eye and told her that it was going to be alright, she let go of him and check in with the lady at the counter and looked back to see if he was still looking at her and went on to go inside the plane. Keith was officially alone, all of them took off to the other side of the country and he was still in Greece, after a long awaited moment he thought why did he let go of the girl of his dream, why didn't he just go to California with her, what could go wrong if he went with her... Quick he asked to buy another plane ticket but this time to Los Angeles, the lady told him that the plane was still in place that it could take them at least 15 minutes before it actually flies out over the sea, he couldn't careless and just started walking really fast thru the pitot tube to get inside the plane, he was looking everywhere for Tess, wondering was she was sitting, if she was sitting in the middle with other people or next to the windows just how she loves it. There she was sitting next to one of the windows on the right with tears in her eyes thinking to herself maybe she's making a mistake by leaving him, as she took a look to the side, she saw him standing with a plane ticket in his hand and a bright smile on his face just waiting to hug her again for the rest of the flight. She couldn't believe it, she thought it was all a dream, that even leaving the place and not being with the others was all an illusion but ah it was all very true, at least her story gets to end on a good note, she gets to fly out to her hometown with the love of her life, gets to have more fun and won't be depressed for a little while. 15 minutes later, the pilot announce that the flight was going to take off and that all the passengers had to put their seatbelts on and just relax for the next 14 hours and 50 minutes... 9 hours and 20 minutes into the flight, Keith and Tess both fell asleep after they finished watching " A nice girl like you", they slept for a good 4 hours and finally woke up still in the air. Ambrose was still wondering why nobody had answer his text message due to the fact that his flight landed a couple of hours ago, he wasn't showing the fact that he was panicking but deep down he knew he wasn't doing okay. Aria looked at his direction and ask him if he was ready to go home and he nod his head just like a little kid... About 2 hours later, Tristan sent a message saying that he just landed and was going home, Ambrose felt relieved for a little while but was still worrying because he still didn't get a message from Keith or Tess. Their plane finally landed and everyone was happy, Keith automatically sent a message on the group saying that he landed safely with Tess and that he didn't go back to Vancouver for a lot of unexplained reasons, that he decided to spend more time with Tess, to support her in everything that was going to happen in the next few months, help her stay stable for a little while. "How are we going to get to your place" said Keith... She looked at him, smiled and told him to wait, who would of thought that the same little girl who was afraid of cars would be driving a 2022 Mercedes-Benz and what what's funny is that she wasn't even the one driving it that day, yes it was her car but she was tired and asked her chauffeur to drive them home. As much as Keith hated to admit it, he missed Los Angeles, the food, the people, the places, his home, his family basically everything and now that he's finally here with Tess, he's not sure that he wants to go back.
