Shiranda's POV

I wasn't expecting Ms. Stevens to offer to let me stay with her. I was a bit hesitant about it at first, but then I realized that this is a chance for me to get close to her. Not that I want her or something, cuz y'know, that would be weird.

I'm actually......glad that she cares enough. She didn't have to consider me and let me stay with her, but she did, and that definitely counts for something.

"Well, here we are. Welcome to Casa de Aurora." She says, turning on the light and tossing her keys onto the table.

I look around, taking in my surroundings. She has a nice place. "Nice house. I like it." I still can't believe I'm in it.

"Why thank you." She smiles. "Where can I set my stuff?" "Right this way." I follow her lead, and we end up in a bedroom.

"You can put your bag in the closet. I only have one bedroom, so you can sleep in here or on the couch if you're not comfortable enough."

Only one bedroom? My eyes go big. "Nah, I'm good sleeping in here." "Follow muah."

I do as she instructs. "This is the bathroom." We walk around the house some more. "And this is the kitchen. I'm going to start dinner soon, but you can have a snack while you wait."

"I'm down for that. I love me a snack." She smiles and looks through her cabinets.

"I got Ritz chips, the sour cream and onion ones, Veggie Crisps, a variety pack of Doritos, snack cakes, Oreos, Nilla Wafers," She goes through her fridge. "Yogurt, things to make sandwiches with, carrots, mangoes, tuna," She looks through the freezer. "Ice cream, popsicles. And for drinks, I have bottled water, Sparkling Ice, La Croix, sweet tea, Kool-Aid, and we can make milkshakes and smoothies."

I think I LOVE being at Ms. Stevens' house. "Can I just snack on everything and drink this place dry until I'm fat?"

She laughs. "No." "Well, in that case, hmmmmm......... I'll take the Ritz chips and make a milkshake."

She goes back to the cabinet and grabs the Ritz chips. "Here you go." She says, handing them to me.

"Thank yooooouuu." "No problem." She smally smiles. She pulls out everything you could possibly use to make a milkshake.

"Want me to make it for you? Or do you want to do it on your own?" She inquires. "Oo, oo, I wanna do it on my own!"

She giggles. "Ok, you little baby." I scoop some cookies 'n cream ice cream into the blender and add some milk.

I blend that bad girl till I'm satisfied. I pour hella chocolate syrup into my glass, along with some caramel syrup.

"You sure get creative with your milkshakes." She says, laughing at me. "I am the queen of customization."

I pour in the ice cream/milk mix, topping it off with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, strawberry syrup, Oreo crumble, and a cherry.

"Voilà! The ultimate milkshake." I say, completely proud of my delicious, marvelous creation.

"No milkshake is complete without a silly straw." She says as she's smiling, sticking the pink straw in.

I smile at her. "You seriously have silly straws?" "Yep." "You're a child. I love it."

I pull out my phone. "Gotta take a pic of it." I say, positioning my phone for the picture. I snap it, then post it to my Instagram, captioning it, "The most extravagant milkshake you've ever seen, consisting of cookies 'n cream ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, and caramel syrup, whipped cream, Oreo crumble, and a delightful cherry. GONNA SLURP THIS SUCKA DOOOWWWN!"
