Chapter 30

Lisa's POV

I am hesitant with our agenda for today but I have no choice, this has to end.

Jennie and Lia are still sleeping, Chaeng, Lilian and I are up, while Jisoo is taking a shower.

I saw my phone rang and saw Mr. Lee's caller ID.

"Mr Lee?" I answered.

"Lisa how are you? How about the girls?" He asked. There's something off with his voice.

"Not so fine but still alive." I said.

"Hmm, okay, just checking, okay , I'll go now, still have things to do, take care always Lisa" he then hang up.

"What did he say?" Chaeng asked.

"He's just checking" i simply said and sat on the chair near my window.

"Hey, everything's going to be fine, don't worry too much about it." She said. I really hope so.

Third Person's POV

Meanwhile, on the other side of the story.

"No, I told you, she's not the threat, I should go stop her" the lady was pacing back and forth, getting all worried with what's going to happen.

"But Lisa knew it already" the man protested.

"I just can't let them destroy the life of a girl, for petes sake" the woman is frustrated with what's happening.

"You cannot just show up" the man said.

"Don't you think I know that?" The lady hissed. She sat on one of the chairs inside the room.

"Showing yourself to them, its a greater deal, and, are you even ready to face her?" The man asked. The lady stopped, looked at the man and sighed.

"I waited for so long for this" she said in a weak tone.

"I know, but it's been years, we're talking about years here" the man then approached the lady.

"No, I've made up my mind, I'm telling her, I'm gonna straighten this chaos, she doesn't deserve to live like this" the lady said in firm tone, she made up her mind, she's doing everything to spare their lives.

Jennie's POV

I woke up with Lia still asleep. I looked for Lisa and she's not inside the room.

"I think the 3 girls when out" Jisoo said stepping out of the closet wearing one of Lisa's clothes.

"Chu, can you lay here beside her? I'll just go shower?" I asked and she nodded. I kissed my daughter's forehead first before I left the bed. I grabbed a towel and went to the shower.

I turned on the shower and just let the cold water run down every inch of my body. Will everything be over after today?

Honestly, I fear for Lisa's life, I fear to see her life crumble down before mine. I haven't talked to her about it, because I don't want her to mind me. I'm trying to the different Jennie. I don't want to be that Jennie who hid on secret doors, waiting for her knight and shining armor to rescue her, I want to be the Jennie who's beside her lover when she's trying to get through all the chaos of her life. It's not a good time to be fragile, I have to be strong for Lia, Lisa, Jisoo, Rosé, my parents and those who are under me.

I finished showering and grabbed some fresh clothes from Lisa's closet. After changing, I stepped out of the closet only to find Lia and Jisoo giggling over the slime that they're playing.
