Chapter 10

Jisoo's POV

I know Jennie and Lisa are still in love with each other. This is why Rosé and I sabotage the organizer for the wedding, this is why Rosé purposely gave the wrong engagement ring, this is why I did this vacation.

I sigh at my thoughts. We are here inside the house since Lisa complained of being tired and just want to hangout inside the house. I was bored so I decided to go through the stuff inside the living room. It was all dusty but I managed to go through the stuff.

I heard soft steps approaching me so I turned and I saw Rosé. She's always been beautiful.

"Hi Chu" she greeted me and sat on the floor across me. I smiled at her and she smiled back.

I swear, after this Jennie and Lisa thing, I'll make my move to claim this girl in front of me.

She started to go through all the stuff inside the cabinet that I was trying to empty. It was dusty but she didn't mind it. It's one of the things I admire about her, she's young, rich, and famous but she's not finicky about anything.

"Chu, look" Rosé raised a rectangular prism covered in dust. She wiped the dust off at it was the Jengga we played 10 years ago.

I big smile flashed and with that I knew what she was thinking. We both laughed at our silly thoughts and cleaned the cabinet.

Time just flew by past us, Rosé volunteered to cook dinner while I was tasked to wake up Lisa and Jennie. I first knocked on Lisa's door who's still asleep. I tapped her carefully.

"I'm not really asleep chu" She spoke with her eyes closed.

"Come down in a few minutes, Rosé's making dinner." I said. She just simply nodded. I stepped out of her room and proceeded to Jennies. I didn't bother knocking and just went inside. I saw her watching TV.

"Come down in a few minutes, Rosé's cooking dinner" I said as I sat on her bed.

"Jen? What are you watching?" I looked at the TV and she's watching Frozen.

"Stop crying Jen, you're not a child anymore" I tried to hide the laughter but I failed and Jennie managed to stab me with her sharp glare. Since I was already laughing, might as well burst it out.

The movie ended but Jennie's crying hasn't.

"Jen!! Stop crying" I'm still trying to hide the laugh.

"Shut up Chu!" She said hitting my arm.

"Let's go, I'm hungry already" she said as she stood up from the bed and dragged me out of her room. Just in time, Lisa also stepped out of her room. The 3 of us descended from the stairs and found our way to the kitchen.

We sat respectively on our usual seats and wait for Rosé to serve the food. As the food were before us, we started to dig in and I'm absolute that it's really delish.

The dining table wasn't quiet but it wasn't chatty also, just normal conversation of compliments for the food.

Lisa volunteered to do the dishes although the 3 of us insisted cause she's a princess, but we can't argue with her. Jennie was tasked to clean the table so we left the two of them in the kitchen while Rosé and I waited for them in the living room.

"Should we play Jengga?" Rosé asked and I smiled at her. She grabbed the Jengga and stacked it up. Jennie and Lisa finished in the kitchen and joined us.

Third Person's POV

Jennie and Lisa sat on the couch just watching the 2 ladies sitting on the floor in front of the table.

"Let's play" Rosé said. The 2 girls on the couch were hesitant but the other two pursued them well. The 4 of them are now on the floor as Rosé fixed the jengga and took the dice.

They first decide on the order by doing rock paper scissors. Lisa will come first, followed by Rosé, then Jennie and Jisoo will be the last. Lisa started off, she rolled the first die to determine which level and the second die contains the color.

6 yellow.

Lisa counted from the bottom and hit 6th stack, she chose the yellow block and opened the folded paper attached to it.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words.

Lisa smirked at the words written on the paper which made the 3 other girls curious and made Rosé grab the block.

She read whats written on the paper and everyone groaned knowing Lisa can be sometimes overconfident.

"Hot, gorgeous, the best" she said bragging while the 3 synchronously said ew

as Lisa finished her turn, Rosé proceeded.

3 blue

Rosé was having a hard time because the 3rd stack has 2 blues but she eventually chose the one in the middle. She opened the paper and read it out loud.

"Who's the sexiest person in the room?" Rosé instantly blushed at the question. Jennie looked at Jisoo with a teasing smile while Lisa was poker the blushing lady's arm.

"Act cool chaeng" she whispered under her breath.

"Hmm, that would be Jisoo" She said half laughing to hide the fact that what she just said was true. Jisoo on the other hand wasn't able to hide her pink cheeks.

It was Jennie's turn and no matter how hard she tried to be calm, she's not, well, according to her. Jennie's dice landed.

4 purple.

She started counting the stacks but her hands were visibly shaking. She tried harder to hide the nervous but she failed.

She chose the block in the middle and carefully opened the paper. Her eyes widened with the words.

Which other player do you think of the most?

Her heart starts to beat fast, it was difficult for her to catch up. Half of her wants to answer the question but the other half says otherwise.

The 3 girls were stunned by the cat-eyed lady's action as she stood up and went to the garden, leaving the three in the living room.

Jennie was catching her breath and tears starts to flood causing her vision to blur. She doesn't get it why she feels this way. Why can't she just admit her feelings?

For Jennie, once she starts to talk about this stuff, wound from the past would start to open again. But aren't they open still?

She was able to calm herself down when she felt a gentle tap on her shoulders.

"Chu not now please" Jennie said wiping her tears.

"I'm not chu but I can call her for you" Jennie was stunned by the voice. She turned around and saw Lisa behind her.

None of the girls wanted to follow Jennie but Lisa's instincts made her do it.

The princess handed Jennie a handkerchief to wipe her tears off. The girls in the garden sat on the ground and just stare at nowhere.

"Are you okay Jen?" Lisa broke the silence.

Jennie didn't know how to respond. How can she open up to her when she's the cause of all the emotions. She simply nodded her head.

The two ladies stayed quiet. Lisa wanted to talk but she knows that she's the last person Jennie wants to talk to but something's telling her that she's has to be there for her.

"Hush now, everything's gonna be fine, if not now, then soon" The princess said, as she thought, soon,  she scoffed at the thought.
