Jennie's POV

Today is our last day, and as much as Lia wanted to bond with me, Chan convinced her to give her mommy a break before hitting work tomorrow.

I am here at the pool relaxing while the girls are at the bar ordering drinks. We're here at a resort chilling. I saw them approaching our direction with bottles of different wines, liquors, and juices. They placed it on the table. Jisoo handed me a glass of wine and I happily accepted it. I went out of the pool and lay on the collapsible chair, sun bathing.

Lisa and Rosé dipped theirselves on the pool while Jisoo sat on my chair.

"You'll start tomorrow" Jisoo started a conversation.

"Yep! Tomorrow" I said feeling the last hours of chilling under the sun because in the next few weeks or maybe month, I'll be busy with of course, The wedding

I sigh at the thought. "You okay?" Jisoo asked, I shook my head no.

"Do you really think I can handle this?" I asked. She gave me a smile.

"We both know you can. Lisa even bonded with your daughter, with you family" Jisoo said.

"Well, maybe she doesn't really care and have no feelings for me that's why its so easy for her to act like nothing happened in front of everyone. Chu, I just have to accept the fact the she moved on" I said trying not to break my voice and trying to sound tough.

"You don't know that Jen, and you'll never know until you guys patch things up" She said before she left me and jumped to the pool.

Time will come, I'll tell her everything, I'll tell her the truth.

Mr. Lee's POV

I have been receiving reports about a threat to Lisa and Jennie. I tried to warn Mr. and Mrs. Kim but for some reason I cannot reach them.

It's much better that Lisa and Jennie are away. I've been trying to find out who's trying to hurt the girls. I am more worried about Jennie and Jisoo since Lisa and Rosé can protect themselves and no one dares to hurt the Princess, even more her sister.

I paced back and forth trying to get Rosé to answer her phone. At least one of them has to know.

"Come on Rosé, pick up the phone" I said. I paused when she picked up.

"Oh thank god! What took you so long to pick up the phone?" I asked.

"I apologise Mr. Lee, we were in the pool. Why did you call?" She asked.

"I have to tell you something but you cannot tell anyone" I said.

Third Person's POV

As soon as Rosé heard Mr. Lee, she felt a sudden hunch that it is not good news so she tried to distant herself from the girls and found a good spot to talk privately.

"What is it Mr. Lee?" She asked, finger crossed, hoping that she's wrong.

"Someone's after Jennie because of Lisa" and there, Rosé's fear. The odd looking man she saw the other day, stalking, looking at the house, like studying it, wasn't just a mere imagination.

"I requested bodyguards from the headquarters Mr. Lee, Agent Park contacted me that they have arrived and had kept their distance so that Lisa won't notice them. I also sent some agents to guard the airport when we arrive tomorrow. I wish what I did was enough to protect the girls" Rosé said after she remembered she made a few phone calls yesterday before bed.
