Chapter 12

Third Person's POV

"Mommy!" A little girl ran to Jennie and hugged her legs. Jennie was surprised to see her daughter and was thrilled to hear her voice.

"Ohh honey" she said picking up the little one.

"I miss you mommy" the little girl, Lia said. She hugged her mommy so tight and showered her with kisses.

"Hi Hon" the father of the child came to Jennie and gave the lady a warm huh.

"How and when did you get here?" Jennie asked.

"Little Lia here called me, saying she wanted to see you, you know I couldn't say no to this little kiddo" Jisoo butted in as she picked up Lia. Lia showered Jisoo with kisses as the little girl really love her auntie.

Lisa and Rosé on the other hand was left standing near the door. Rosé was overwhelmed with the presence of the father and the child, well not in a negative way, but her attention then shifted to the princess beside her.

"Mommy, is she the princess in the story you always tell me?" Lia said pointing at Lisa who's currently staring at the little human in front of her.

Lisa didn't know how to respond, or maybe she does because her feet just made her climb up the stairs and into her room.

She left the family and her friends in the living room and threw herself to the bed.

Lisa's POV

My world shattered when I heard a little voice calling Jennie mommy. Yes, I knew she had a family but it never really occurred to me of how real it is.

I failed to notice the tears that are falling from my eyes. My heart once again betrayed me.

I heard a knock on my door and I know for sure it's Rosé. "Not now chaeng" I said. I heard the foot steps starts to disappear, or I thought so. I heard my door opened and I felt her presence beside me.

"Lisa, you know you can always talk to me" she said. I sat up and leaned on my headboard.

Third Person's POV

"Chaeng, why does it feel like all the pain 10 years ago came back?" Lisa looked at her fingers as she plays with the sheet.

The other lady beside her just looked at her in pity. As much as she wants to do everything for Lisa, this time, she feels like she failed and that everything she did was a big mistake.

"I'm sorry Lis"those were the only words that came out of Rosé's mouth.

"Its okay" the princess said even though its really not. The two girls allowed silence to cover the room until Lisa released a big sigh.

"I was stupid for letting my guards down. Even more stupid for entertaining the idea that we can go back to what we were before. Chaeng, I'm tired of hurting, how can the world be this cruel to me?" The princess cried in frustration. Rosé on the other hand couldn't do anything. she wanted to cancel the plans she and Jisoo had but the latter insisted of pushing through. Jisoo believed that these two are destined for each other.

"I love her Chaeng, still, but I have to let her go" Lisa added. As much as Rosé wants Jennie for Lisa, she cannot force thoughts to Lisa. Maybe she just have to let fate do it's job.

"Do you want to meet Lia?" Rosé asked. Lisa was a bit hesitant.

"She named her after you" Rosé opened up which shocked Lisa. The princess stared at the lady beside her waiting for her to continue.
