-Theo.Pov.

Raw guilt slowly eat's away at my conscious, how could I give Kent away so easily? At first it really didn't seem like such a bad idea. After getting back home I hopped in the shower, hoping the water would wash away the growing doubt.

Me and Kent bonded over the year's of him being here. The day my father walked into my office and dumped half my worthless sibling's on me sucked. He thought he could make it up by buying me farm stock.

I was so agitated with him, all I said was okay before leaving to go see these prized stallion's. Sure enough in my barn I found ten healthy beautiful black stallion's. I also found a dirty orphan Kent looking pathetic behind them.

He pretended not to see me, till the silence became to uncomfortable bear.

"Im guessing my father also bought me help for the extra horse's?" I questioned him. Back then he wasn't so loud and acted more like a submissive. His hair was plain brown and cut short to his head. The dirty blue overall's he wore hung off his thin frame.

"Yes, sir I'm here to clean the stable's. Your father is paying me to be a helping hand here." He spoke softy, standing behind the huge horse's. I figured he must know what he's doing if he felt so comfortable standing behind horse's that are known to kick.

A few day's later I found Kent washing dishe's in the kitchen. He didn't see me but I watched him from the shadow's. Iv never seen my dishe's sparkle to brightly before.
So I said nothing to him and slowly he continued doing more chore's around the house.

Month's went by before I bothered to qestion Kent again. I had no suspicion's and he did such great work. Alway's cleaning up a mess before I ever noticed.

After my shower I found a plain black dress suit to change into. I was going to continue catching up on paper work in my office. Reality wouldn't let me escape my guilty mind. Instead im wallowing in self pity, drinking straight out of a bottle of red wine. I wait for Iven and him to get back from shopping in my drawing room.

The wine sting's my throat but not as much as the memorie's invading my head. It's like I forced self into a time machine, only capable of moving backward's.

This room used to have plain solid oak wood floor's, with plain white wall's. I had a beautifully crafted white show piano made, as the center peice. I alway's planned to decorate more but I never could find the time to.

Not only did he finish decorating but he also had a huge hole made into the front wall. Hired professional's to install bay winddow's through out my lower house.

I found him hand painting the window's after I had breakfast that day. The wall's were no longer white but a lovely lavender with white trimming. The floor's had been replaced with solid white marble and their was Kent. Plain brown hair and still wearing the same stained blue overall's. He stood perfectly still painting gorgeous rose's on my glass.

That was the first real moment I truly looked at Kent as a person. Everyday since arriving here he's made it his business to do everything I want and need. With out hesitation and somtime's before I even voice my many request's to him. He invaded my space and stubborn heart.

I was content to watch him paint till he finished but I could scent my older brother June approaching my front door step.

June is Alpha but he's not big like Sabin, or smaller then a Beta. He's just above beta size and it kill's me in a strange way. He has plainest blue eye's I've ever seen and dresses like a miniature version of our Alpha.

Alway's were cheap business suite's and gelling his black hair back, like a old school greaser. His foul Alpha scent assault's my nostril's as I swing open my front door and promptly shut it behind me. I caught him off guard and was able to chest bump him backward's on my front porch.

"Now who in the sky saint's ball's, do you think your pushing around?" He growl's out before catching my throat in his left hand.
I could feel his muscle's shake as he struggled to hold me up by my neck. I knew the punch was coming before I even let myself smirk in his face.

I spit the blood out of my mouth on his tacky white tuxedo shoe's. At this point I'm just antagonizing him because I feel like it.

"Why are you on my land?" I growl out before he can wack me again, I move quickly out of his arm's reach.

His wrinkled white tuxedo pull's tight across his back, as he doubles over laughing at me.

"Listen im not here to play game's with you little brother. Dad said you have a avaliable omega for me to mate. Im just here to collect."

My answer was swift and shocking to us both.

"No"

The displaced humor disappeared and Alpha hormone's make the air thicken.

"Now I'm now sure what's going on inside that little head but think Theo, think reaal hard on your next action."

I know he's not warning me to just be funny. Litterly no one tell's him no, the whole freaking town love's him. He could have any pick he want's and here I am telling him no.

"Dad bought him for me, came with my new stable and horse's. Sound's like a personal issue, you should take up with anyone else but me."

I didn't know what else to say, so I just told him the truth. It wouldn't do me any go to lie to him anyway, he can smell deceit.

"Please tell me what one Omega is going to do with another Omega? I'll call dad then beat the shit out of you for making me waste my time."

I wasn't sure what I was going to do, I just knew I was desperate to keep Kent.

"He's a Omega dad bought for me, have him buy you your own bitch."

That stopped him from pumping Alpha hormone's around us. I can tell he's trying to scent if I'm fucking around with him. His eyes narrow down at me before he dramatically walking away he shouting over his right shoulder.

"You better not be lieing."

Despite the rising heat of the day, goosebumps broke out along my skin. I stormed back inside, practically falling over myself trying to get back to Kent.

He came to me instead, guiding me to sit down in the drawing room. A cold cloth wrapped around ice touched my swollen cheek. We sat like that for a few minute's, I just needed time to process exactly what just happened.

I reach up and cover my right hand over Kent's hand. I can feel the ice under his warm hand, slowly melting against my cheek. I look into his eye's and try not to let the desperation in them sway me.

"Your going to tell me why, I just signed up to get mawled in the very near future. Did my father really buy you for me?" I asked softly.

He hesitated before answering but deep down I knew the truth already.

" No he didnt...I hid away among the horse's." He spoke just as softly as I did.

We didn't have a deep conversation about where he came from. Or why he ran away, I just sat on the sofa and let him hold the ice to my sore cheek. I truthfully didn't want to know then and sure don't want to know now. I knew all I needed to know and that was he's never going back to where ever that place is. June won't get to have him either because I unknowingly grew attached.

How could I send him away? Knowing what I know then and now maybe I should have just let June have him.
