The water broke across my face as we sprang to the surface of the ocean. My eye's immediately connect with Apple's shaking body.

"I know you don't find this funny Iven but this is what real best friends do with eachothere. Now if you want you can go freak Theo out and make him think we did somthing wrong but he's just going to tell you how silly your being as well. "

My eyes narrow at the thought of Theo calling me silly. I hate when he disregards my intelligence because of my upbringing. They last thing I want is to spoil are trip to.

The rumbling sound of both our stomachs drift across the seas wind. Thankfully breaking the tension between us. Theo looks so adorable napping in his beach chair I almost don't want to wake him up.

My stomach rumbles with hunger as I gently shake him awake. He mutters somthing under his breath before opening his eyes.

Before I could suggest doing anything Theo tells me to go ahead with Apple for dinner. Him and June still had things to catch up on.  I gladly said okay and hugged him tightly before leaving.

Then we headed back to the hotel room and changed into are normal clothes. I picked out a black sun dress with white high heels. I know Theo will love when he sees me tonight. Wearing them for him has become easier.

The extra attention he gives me makes up for the ache in my soles. I meet Apple outside in the black limousine, shes already in the back

'Pre-gaming'

Is what she calls it.

Her hair is slicked back into a bun and she's wearing what Theo calls a "jumper".

It's off white, also matching the color of her scandals. She offers me a sour smelling drink and I politely decline.
I can't stand the strong oder that comes off the drinks she makes her self.

The fruity ones aren't to bad, but still leaves a nasty after taste. Normally she is fine with me passing on  drinking but this time her eyes narrow alittle at me.

"How long do you think they will be busy tonight? Hopefully not to late. "

I joke lightly with her, trying to break the small tension between us. It must have worked because the easy going Apple slips back into place and she slipping down her own drink while giggling.

"They might have their hand's full all night long. Just depends on how difficult the paper work is.

June once spent half a year, can you believe it! A whole 6 months, stuck over Seas. Said he was stuck negotiating over the details of some big contract."

Apple pauses her speedy talking to throw back the rest of her drink. Before eying her empty cup quickly settling for drinking out of the vodka bottle it self. I wait patiently for her to continue talking because I just know she has more to say.

"I told him if he ever left again for that long to find himself a new mate. Im not waiting around for no one.  After that 6 months though, he's never really left my side since.

All im saying is just don't be surprised if he ups and disappears for work randomly."

Before I could respond we reach are destination. The restaurant's tables were set out side underneath umbrellas. We watched the sun set together while eating. Are conversation ranged from are childhood to favorite meals over dinner.

Its amazing how much differently some one else can live their life from yours. All I ever wanted was a strong pack and a huge family. Now my reality may be growing inside me.

My hands drift slowly to my bloated stomach. Finnaly im full and content but Apple still wants to drink more.
The waiter brings back two fruity smelling drinks.

She pushes one kver to my side of the table and lifts her own cup.

"Cheers to a beautiful vacation."

"Cheers."
I say while lifting up my water glass, her eyes narrow all the way this time.

"Spill it. Are you pregnant? If you are then you know you have to tell me!"

Laughter spills out of me uncontrollably.

"Haah! Of course I might be pregnant silly."

I giggle at her hostility some more before settling down.

"What do you mean might be? When the last time you took a test?"

This time I really lose it, bending over alittle while laughing at her.

"This is not a joke Iven! Come on and tell me." She whines.

"Apple im traditional. Traditional wolf's don't take pregnancy tests. We show signs then grow."

For a moment we just stare at each other before both of us break out giggling.
