"ALASKA I SWEAR IF YOU DONT GET DOWN HERE IN TIME FOR THE MEETING IM GONNA KICK UR BUTT NOW COME ON!" Trick screamed as I smirked and jumped down the stairs.
"You screamed." I hit the floor with a soft thud and smiled at him
" Yeah I did about 20 times now lets go your keeping everyone waiting." he said
I phased and ran outside and saw everyone at the lumberjack yard waiting on me and kinda mad at me.
How much time didya spend on your makeup this time Alaska. asked Nick as I snapped at his ear and he wrestled me to the ground. I was winning of course until Trick pulled me off as I stood up taller on the other side of John thats where my safe place was.
Enough both of you now Alaska and Nick you 2 have night patrol tonight for that little stunt Trick said.
Aww come on Trick you know me and lil Alaska were just playing around He smirked at me and I let a growl escape my throat
I said enough and whatever goes goes! Trick said in his AVC as we all bowed down head to the ground as far as it would go down with faces in the dirt as he snarled at Nick. Nick bowed down right as he came near him whining like a pup. Goodness did Trick have to be such a buzz kill goodness.
We get it Trick no need to go all alpha on us John said as Trick gave him the stink eye.
I was wondering where Ray was I hadn't really heard from him all week I was starting to get concerned. Trick told us what he had to then I ran back to the house and texted Ray. He didn't respond that was so unlike him where was he oh well. I walked over to my grandparents house right when I got there I saw a really muscular guy not really built though screaming at the blonde and the huge guy.
"No you can't just make me do that!" the kid screamed as the parents tried to calm him down not really succeeding.
"Jace you stop it right now you hear me you are causing a scene we did not raise you to act like that!" they screamed at him as he walked around the corner and bumped into me.
"Sorry." he mumbled as he ran at full speed. Yup he was a bloodsucker like them oh well I ran inside to meet grandma and grandpa.
"Hey Alaska whats the matter?" Edward asked as Bella gave me a hug.
"Nothing I just saw a kid uh screaming I mean talking to Rosalie and Emmett who was he?" I asked
"Looks like Rose and Emmett tried Jaspers way." Bella whispered to Edward
"Thats their son, Jace, he is a little troubled now a days being a vampire and new at it he can control his thirst very well." Edward added as I nodded knowing how they are not well as newborns with thirst.
I nodded as we talked about normal things and Jace came up as Edward and Bella introduced him again.
"Oh Alaska this is Jace, Rose and Emmett's son." Edward said
" Sup." he said as he grabbed some blood from the fridge and drank it like a carton of milk as I shivered and winced.
"What does she not like blood or something all I smell on her is wet dog." He smirked as I rolled my eyes.
"No didn't your mother ever teach you its not polite to drink from the carton." I shot back
"Eh a feisty one you got there huh Edward." He added as I rolled my eyes again
"Yeah I guess I am since I am the granddaughter of Renesemee Cullen Black." I rubbed my hand as nothing ever happened and he dropped the carton on the counter.
"Well goodness how is old Nessie doing." He asked as Edward pinched his arm and he yelped
"Jeez I was just asking." He mumbled as I stood quiet
Edward whispered something to him as his eyes widened and he walked over to me and sat down next to me.
"I know how you feel I'm really sorry Alaska I had no idea." He said
"It's ok you didn't know I forgive you." I said as he pulled me into a hug
It didn't feel like one of the hugs that Ray ever gave me it felt different kind of nice actually as Edward watched from a distance and our hug ended.
"Well i'd better go find Ray." I said as I walked through the door
"Ok i'd better go apologize to mom and dad." He said as we walked out the door together.
"Bye Grandpa." I said
"Bye Edward." said Jace
"Bye you guys." Edward said
I walked out the door and Jace followed as he grabbed my arm and I spun around and had a vision.
The wolf howls at night my dear but don't have a fright because momma's gonna give you everything dear oh dear don't cry don't cry momma is here momma is here my dear dear dear.
It was a song sung by my mother. I knew the song from anywhere it is my best memory of her
"Hey i'll cya later ok?" He said as I nodded and ran back to The Blue Cave and sat down.
I must have fell asleep because when I woke again Ray was standing over me and saying we need to talk.
"Ok whats the matter?" I asked
"Well uh, I have to leave and I'm never coming back and I have to go." He said as I just looked at him.
"Why what why???" I said
"It's you not me I have to go don't try and call me goodbye." He said and ran off
I couldn't breathe I just stood there like a statue. I just stood by the rock and the pain didn't stop. I just stayed there. It all happened to fast like a bullet being shot. I just stayed there until late at night. I heard noises all around me as I felt Jace's arms around me picking me up.
"I FOUND HER I FOUND HER!" He screamed as I felt the coldness that actually felt good. It felt like the heat wasn't taking me over and I could actually just stop being me for just a little while.
"Thanks Jace I got her from here." Edward added
"I'll take her to her room you can come if you want." Jace said as he walked up the stairs. I looked up and he said.
"It's ok you've been through a lot just go back to sleep its ok." He whispered to me as I started to drift off.
"D-don't leave me please?" I asked and he nodded meaning I won't.
He walked into the Cullen's home and set me down in my grandparents bed and he sat on the chair on the other side of the room. He didn't move only to go to get food as I slept. I woke up 2 days later and I cried but Jace wasn't in the room so Bella came and soothed me and that made me cry even more. I couldn't believe it I didn't even want to say his evil name again.
