Chapter 14

"He past away no thanks to you leaving him you little!" I lurched at him as Ray held me back.
I looked into my father's eyes and I just saw the tiredness and regret in his eyes. I just saw how much he was hurting. I just needed to stop.
"Hey what did I m-," Dalton ran up starting to say something as his glance caught Bree 's.
I knew that minute that Bree had found her special one. The way he looked at her and the way she looked at him. It was like destiny. That's when I knew that this was no magical curse. It was fate that would bring them together. Like my mother and Jacob. I needed to forgive and forget. Like Ray said, I just needed to calm down. It would take some time, but I would get over it.
I walked up to Jacob Black and looked into his eyes. I was almost up to his head, but he stood there looking at me. I blinked and then pulled him into a hug. We hugged as I heard Trick sound disgusted. I let go of him and he smiled and I forced a smile.
"Alaska i'm-." I didn't let him finish as I walked back to Ray. Ray was looking at Dalton and Dalton was looking at Bree as she just looked at him not wanting to take her eyes off of him. That's when I had a flash back.
It's like it's not gravity holding you to the ground it's her. You would do anything be anything for her. a lover a brother or a protector.You would do anything to please her. Jacob kept on working on the car as Bella looked at him not knowing what to say.
I came back to real life and I realized that this needed to stop. The pain in both packs. I walked to the Pack House as Ray followed. I touched his hand and showed him what I saw and he nodded.
"That's what it feels like." He whispered back to me and I hugged him silently.
"Im sorry that I pained you like that." I said to him as he shook his head.
"It was worth it." He said as he hugged me back
I smiled and then looked at my dad again. Distressed, scared, and confused. That was what he was. All of those things. Werewolves well they don't age. I aged fast like fully mature at nine years old. I am now eighteen and not really changing. I slightly sparkle a little not very noticeable though. Anyway i'm off track, werewolves they don't age. But yet, he looked tired, old, and like he wanted to just be forgiven for his mistakes.
"Ray we need to talk." I whispered to him as he nodded and we went to the woods away from everyone. I looked back and Bella and Edward were standing there looking at Jacob ready to fight. I couldn't let them do that so I put up a shield on Jacob and Edward glanced at me. I shook my head at him and he nodded and pulled Bella's arm away from Jacob. She was confused but still followed as Ray and I talked.
"Look Ray I don't care that he left me anymore he just I don't know I don't want to see him like this, he is my father." I said as he nodded
"I'm with you one hundred percent, I saw his eyes and it was just sad." He said as we walked back to Trick.
"Meeting now." Trick said as Jacob stepped up and so did Sam and his Pack.
"Not you." He sneered at them and I just gave Trick the death glance. I phased with Ray at my side and we ran to the lumberjack yard. I had a thousand voices in my head and yet I still couldn't find mine.
Trick lead the Pack and he hopped up on the highest wood pile as we all listened to him. Dalton was with Bree and she was getting closer to him and he was protecting her best he could.
They can't stay they have to leave now Trick growled at us all as me and Ray looked at each other.
No we can't they have been through enough! I snarled at him as he pounced down from his pile of wood right in front of me. I heard Ray growling next to me as Trick moved right up in my face.
You have no say in this Alaska you have done enough you do not own this pack I do! He snarled using his AVC on my and I was starting to back down that's when it hit me.
I stood up taller and puffed up my chest and snarled at him.
I will not stand with you I am the daughter of Jacob Black, and you may do as you will I will stand by my father until the end, and you will not get in anyone's way. I snarled at him and leaped over his head and ran back to the Pack House.
Ray was at my flank with Bree and Dalton as well.
You guys are idiots go back that's the pack life you guys want, i'm doing this alone. I said as they all laughed
Um how about no way I mean seriously do you not know anything i'm on team Alaska all they way. Bree said as Ray nodded
Yeah we fight and stuff you are my only family right now Alaska I need you, Bree needs you, everyone needs you, you are our leader. So stand up tall and proud and lead us. Ray added as I smiled at him and Dalton nodded.
I've been alongside Ray for 14 years and well he has never been wrong. So I know he is making the best decision possible so yeah i'm so in. I also have always wanted to kick Trick's butt. He smirked as I laughed and ran all they way there and phased and dressed.
I grabbed all the clothes I could and ran back to Jacob.
"To the Cullen's house." I said and he nodded and I ran there with Bree, Dalton, and Ray.
We came upon there house as I stopped and took a breath that's when I saw Jace. He couldn't even look me in the eye. Better yet Ray in the eye. I felt so ashamed yet this felt right. I walked up to him and told him we needed to talk and he just grunted and walked in the back.
"Stay here Ray." I told him as he understood and walked back to talk to Edward and Bella.
"What do you want Alaska." He said
"Look i'm sorry." I said quickly
"You can't just do that Alaska! I thought we had something going then your making goggly eyes at him." He spat as I just looked at him. Not the Jace I know but another one. An angry not forgiving one.
"I can have given you more than that that-." He tried to say as I spit it out for him
"What a mutt well sorry that's partly what I am Jace! Grow up and let me explain!" I screamed at him as he shut up for a second.
"He imprinted on me and I know what your thinking you don't believe in that. But that's when I got a vision of Bella and Jacob talking about it. And I showed him and he said that's what it's like. Look i'm not even sure we were meant to be. But he gave up everything for me. When have you ever done that? Ray is my soul mate and I really didn't need some magic love potion to show me that. We just weren't working out and you know that. You will find your soul mate Jace, it's just-." I stopped as he tried to grab my hand early and I slowly pulled my hand back. "Not me." I breathed out as he nodded
"I guess I get it. You like him better than me. But keep this in mind Alaska, I will always love you, I will never stop protecting you fighting for you, and I will always be on your side through thick and thin." He said as I nodded.
"Come here Ally." He said as he hugged me and I hugged him back.
"I need your help Jace, I ran away from the pack I am now an Alpha of another I need your help and if it comes up to a fight I need you to help me will you help me." I asked.
"Course i'll help you Ally." He said as I smiled.
