Leah
I watched as for the first time in month's Jacob Black laughed. He actually laughed with Alaska's boyfriend. He had that old gleam in his eye. That was saying something because this guy has been trying to kill himself for a long time after Nessie died. I miss Nessie too. We were great friends and I was her maid of honor at their wedding. That was were I met Lucas. Lucas was a high school friend of Nessie and well he was a different kind of werewolf. I had also imprinted on him which meant I couldn't leave him alone. He was bitten, not born this way. He is amazing though tall, muscular, black hair, green eyes. He became in our pack about 1 year and we got married before he was in the pack.
I needed to go talk to Alaska. Well for starters I'm not staying with the boys all night while they tell jokes and fart or whatever they do. So I walked inside and asked Esme where Alaska was. She said her room was up the stairs and down the hall a little ways. I walked to her room and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" She asked. Goodness she even sounded like Nessie no wonder Jacob flips when she talks.
"It's me, Leah." I said
"Oh come in." I walked into her room and say Bree and her sprawled out on the floor talking. I looked at Bree and she had green eyes like Lucas and brown hair long and curly, she must have curled it out, like me.
"I was wondering if maybe I could sleep up here tonight?" I asked as she looked at Bree.
"If it's ok with Bree it's ok with me." She shrugged as we both looked at Bree.
"Fine." She mumbled
"I need answers anyway." She said after that as I smiled and sat down next to her.
"What do you need to know sweetie?" I asked as she looked at me.
"Why did you go? Why didn't you just stay? You and dad could have stayed!" She asked me and I sighed and looked down.
"Jacob couldn't stand to see Alaska, you look and sound so much like your mother." I told her
"So why did you leave then?" She asked
"Alpha command voice, he told us we all had to leave you guys when we really didn't want to." I added
"We made him come back which we shouldn't have done." I said after that.
"Why?" Said Alaska
"Because everything here it reminds him of her, her scent, her old house, this is even her old room." I said
"Really? Why does it matter to him so much?" Alaska asked
"Because she was his imprint, he needs her like he needs oxygen. He tried to kill him self while he was gone. You need to be there for your father." I said
"Why he was never there for me!" She started to raise her voice at me.
"And he beats himself up every day for that Alaska! You need to let go of the past and move on!" I told her
"Your saying this to me! He is the one still mourning over my mothers death!" She screamed at me
"Have you ever lost your imprint?! What would happen if Ray just died! You would not be able to breathe! And neither would he if you died!" I spat back at her as she looked like a defeated puppy.
"I didn't realize how bad it is." She whispered
"It's horrible." I said
"I'm sorry. For yelling at you." She added
"It's ok you should go talk to your father though." I said
"Ok i'll do that now, wanna come Bree? To see Dalton?" She asked
"Who is Dalton?" I smirked at her
"My imprint." She said shyly and looked at the ground blushing.
I smiled and hugged her telling her I loved her.
"Could I come with you? I need to tell Lucas goodnight and grab a few pillows." I asked
"Of course." Alaska said as we all bounded out the door.
Alaska
I walked out the door to go say something to my father. I needed to fix this and now. I saw him laughing as he talked to Ray. Just like Ray to make the saddest people laugh. That's just one of the reason's why I loved him. I walked up to them and took in a deep breath. I smelled her, it was strongly of her. I remember that smell from the first day I was born. I looked at my father who just stared at me.
"Hey Alaska I was just talking to Ray." He said as I nodded
"Could I talk to you outside for a second alone?" I asked him
"Uh huh."
"I just wanted to say," I started as we walked outside.
"Your not alone...." I said as he looked at me.
"Your never going to be alone, not anymore not ever again. I miss mom like u miss her I have a feeling she isn't dead though." I told him
"I watched her die she is dead." He said not looking at me
"You said the body was gone though." I asked him
"Aro could have taken it."
"True but," I started
"Stop...."
"Ok."
He looked at me and hugged me tightly.
"I know that it hurts like crap be strong ok? Don't you dare give up." I said to him as silent tears fell down my cheek and his.
"I won't not ever again I won't ever leave you Alaska." He said as I smiled
"I love you dad..." I said
"I love you too Alaska."
Ray
I walked outside as Jacob was leaving to go check the perimeters and walked up to Alaska. I put my arms around her waist and she sighed and pulled me into a hug.
"I know it's going to take time." I told her
"How much time though?" She asked
"I have no idea. Let's just survive high school first though ok?" He said as I nodded.
"Yessir." she said as I smiled
I went inside as she walked up stairs and we both waved then walked inside and I fell asleep on the cabin beds.
