Lose it

I drove my car as fast as I could. A call came through the car, it was my mom.

"Audry what are you doing!" she yelled.

"I'm going to kill her." I said in a dark tone.

"Audry, stop! I order you to stop!" She said in a firm tone.

"Mom, I'm not stopping for shit. I will kill her and I will kill her and anyone that gets in my way. So don't try to stop me. This shit needs to end."

"Audry! You don't know anything! You don't understand!" she keeps going off on the phone.

"Shut up I know enough to know that I'm done with her bullshit."

"Audry, calm down, let me talk to you. Let me explain to you."

"There's no explaining, Keaton is dead. I'm going to rip her to pieces."

"No, Audry, he's-" I ended the call right there.

I'm now on Jesse's road. I didn't even pull into her driveway, I ran right across the lawn and drifted so that my car was sideways. I popped the trunk, grabbed a bat, put my book bag on and attached an m16 on my shoulder. I walked up to the door, it was locked. The door was too thick to kick down. I backed up and shot at the handle. Nothing.

"Fuck this." I put my stuff down in my passenger seat. There's a big wall of windows on their front porch. I got in my car and back up onto the neighbors lawn. I slammed on the gas and drove straight towards the line of windows. I flew up the porch and right into their living room.

I put my stuff back on and began to scope the place out. Chances are they already know I'm here. I checked he upstairs first, no one was there. In the hallway of the bedrooms there was a wooden piece with Jesse's mother's favorite and extremely expensive vase. I took my bat and took a swing at it. Pieces flew everywhere. I pulled out my knife and wrote on the wooden piece. 'I will find you and i will kill you all.'  I walked down stairs to the basement and found no one. I just looked around for anything I could find. I turned more lights one to see anything that looked important. Its an old wooden unfinished basement, filled with random collections of all sorts of things.

I started moving things around just to make sure I didn't miss anyone down here. I moved a large cabinet and behind it was a plank of wood against the wall. I moved the plank of wood and behind it was a room filled with blackness. I pulled out my phone and put the flash light on. It was just four brick walls with writing covering them from top to bottom. I got closer to the wall to read them clearly.

'She killed them. She killed them all. She must pay.'

This was covering one wall completely over a hundred times written.

'Audry did it. She is the reason they are gone. She forgets, but we will remind her.'

This was on the next wall.

'When you finally see this, Audry. It will be your time.'

there was only one sentence on the third wall.

"Do you remember now Audry." I heard Jesse's voice from the doorway.

I put my gun up and pointed it at her. She stood with a knife in her hands and a bullet proof suit on. "Remember what, Jesse?"

"The accident four years ago, Audry!" she yelled.

"What accident?" I ask.

"I've waited for so long to finally get you here, finally trap you in this cave." She goes on.

"What accident, Jesse!" I yell.

"You were driving. Your sister was in the passenger seat. My sister and my cousin were in the back seats." She went on to say.

"What are you talking about, Jesse, Four years ago I was 13!" I yell. "there's no fucking way I could've drove a car!"

"Oh, but you did Audry. When you work for the agency you had perks. Ever since that accident they kept the driving age to the legal age to drive." she started to calmly speak in a dark tone.

"What are you talking about, I was never in the agency before now."

"You were, we all were. Me, you, Leslie, your sister, my sister and my cousin. How else do we know each other so well?"

"Well if it were such a bad accident why am I fine, huh? Answer that one!"

"You weren't, You were in a coma for a year. You needed so many replacements in your body. As for my cousin and sister they were killed instantly. You paralyzed your sister for life."

"There's no way."

"You all were driving home from the agency and you drive so recklessly. I always tell them to watch when they're in the car with you. You went to fast around a turn and the car slid right off. You wrapped the car around a tree."

"That's impossible!" I yell.

"Audry, do you remember this picture." She shows me the same picture that I looked at in the glove compartment. I didn't say anything, I just looked at it. "See that's you, that's me, and that's Anna, my cousin." She pulled out another picture. "How about this one?" it was another picture with a few girls in it wearing similar things that I am wearing. "This was a picture during training. That's you, that's me, there's your sister, there's Anna, there's Leslie, there's your mom, and that's my sister Gianna."

"Audry!" I heard my mom call from upstairs. Her and the rest of the squad had rolled in.

I looked at Jesse. "No." *ptaff* she fell and blood pouring from her left thigh.

"AUDRY!" My mom came sprinting down the steps to the basement.

I walked towards the steps and said "Take her." I grab all of my shit and I hopped up the steps as my mom watched me in awe. The squad looks at me like they've never seen anything like it before. I don't look at any of them. I just look into the distance and walk into the living room to get my car. I hopped in my car and turned the key, the ignition won't start. Twice I try to start it, three times nothing. Fourth time it starts. I revved the engine, put it in reverse and peeled out. The car jumped and fell when pulling out of the house. I turn the wheel to go in the opposite way of my house towards the agency.

I've finally lost it... I've finally lost my cool...

I broke down while driving. I couldn't take the information I was just told. I can't take that Keaton is gone forever. I'm paying attention to the roads on the way up to the agency. I have not found a road with a turn. I keep looking, but i've made it to the agency and there were no turns. I sat in the agency parking lot and wondered.

There has to be a reason why I don't remember anything.

There's another way home. I quickly drove out of the parking lot and tried to find this road that I can picture, but not to sure on what it's called. I turned down a wooded road and it all looks so familiar. I know the way back and I don't take this way home ever.

I remember the accident. I remember what happen that day, but I didn't cause it.
