"Keaton you have to get up, listen to me, trust me, i'll get us out. I know what to do.
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"i have an idea." i gave him an assuring look. then held the wheel straight as he pushed the pedal down and we eased into eachother's seat. It sounds impossible, but some how we managed to do this. I was at the wheel of a car flying down a road 110 mph being shot at by an old guy while being chased by cop cars.
"great way to start driving, Audry." i whispered to myself. i realized Wes and drew were screaming on Keaton's phone in my pocket and pulled them out.
"you found it!" i handed Keaton the phone and focused on the road. "put your belt on tight!" i told Keaton as i was clicking mine in.
*POW*
he hit our back bumper.
"what do you want us to do with it!" drew yelled on the phone.
my mind went blank i didn't know what to do. They can't find out or else they'll get killed and i have to know what this guy wants from me.
"AUDRY IT'S A DEAD END!"
"PUT THE PHONE IN YOUR POCKET AND HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!"
"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!"
"i hope this works like it does in the movies!"
I slammed on the brakes and when we slowed down enough i turned the car and got hit by the old guy on the back right side of the car and we were spinning out of control.
"HOLD ON!"
next thing we knew the was water shooting through the car. Keaton got out of his car and pulled me out and i lay-ed on the ground. i was to tired to get up.
"come on Audry get up." i heard him whisper to me.
i looked around and the black car had wrapped around a tree and the cop cars had slid into the grass. there were a few people looking around to help.
*Pow*
There were terrifying screams and people running for cover.
"shit!" how do you hit your car that hard and live? "dear god, Justin help us." i actually found some energy to pull myself up and start running as hard as we could. Some how we ended up closer to my house than we thought. After about ten minutes of running, we dove through my from door, then slammed and locked it. the old guy gave up on looking for us, but i won't take any chances. i called Steve and Kevin and told them to not come home, what just happened and told them i'll be with Keaton until i can get back to them. Butterflies ran in my stomach and chills ran up my spine as i heard footsteps run up from my room.
"KEATON! AUDRY!" thank god it was only Wes and drew i forgot about them in here. they hugged us and pick us up.
"OH MY GOD BRO I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!"
i saw the card in Drew's hand took it and walked away casually to my kitchen. I finally opened the card. It says:
"Tomorrow, go to the corner of 3rd and Lexington. A black car will be there to get you. You get in the car and make sure you are not being followed."
