Chapter 4 - Rooftop

*Ellas's POV

It's sunday and I like the stalker I am already checked all the Just A House LA girl's tiktoks trying to see the familiar driveway on them. It was late in the afternoon when all of them posted multiple videos presenting the new house and I couldn't miss the opportunity to brag about this to my friends. I was just waiting for proof, you know.

I call Liv on facetime and she picks up after 2 rings.

"Hola puta" She says and I laugh so much, she was probably studying for the spanish final that we had on tuesday, although I think she got a little distracted.

"Good to know you're studying the important things, Liv" I say and she also laughs. "You'll never guess who my new neighbours are"

"Who? Is it a hot guy?" I make a disgusted face. "Ugh, a hot girl?" She knows me so well.

"Uhm...What if I told that the Just A House LA girls moved in next door?"

"I would definitely not believe you" She says. Haha, you're about to be blown away honey.

I hang up the facetime and text her the link to the tiktoks. She answers me imediatelly.

Liv: SHUT THE FUCK UP 

She texted me, shocked.

We talk for hours about how crazy the  situation is and then I decide it is time for my daily tiktok scroll. I'm about 3 hours in when I see something moving on the street. I check the clock and it is 2AM. What is this person doing? Who is it anyways?

I get up and look out my window. I can recognize her anywhere. Anna was walking around her house looking kinda lost and it is making me wonder what the hell she's doing. Should I go there and see if she's ok? It could be pretty dangerous outside even though it's a gated community, I mean who knows.

That is the only reason why I am opening my front door and going outside on the middle of the night. Definitely not because I want her to desperatly fall in love with me. LOL, jokes people, jokes. 

"So what are you doing walking around your house at 2AM?" 

"Oh my god Ella, you scared me" she answers and laughs a little when she saw that it was me. Did she just remember my name? "I was looking for a stair so I can go sit on the roof" I raise an eyebrow with her answer "Don't worry, I just wanna see the view and think a little"

"You're lucky that is also my thing" I tell her while pointing my finger to the backyard "Follow me" I say smirking a little. Where did all this confidence come from?

She follows me until I show her a stair that leads to the roof. We get up there and I can see she is mesmerized by the view. One of the bests in LA if I may say.

"So pretty" she says looking at me. She's talking abou the view right?

"Right? Sometimes I come here alone just to think about everything. I'm a huge overthinker and at least looking at the city lights calms my anxiety a little." 

"Well, you're right about that. Being on social media is not as simple as it may sound. People can be really mean and it sucks when you see they saying shit when they're not even close to knowing the real you." she shares that with me and I can see pain in her eyes. Damn it Anna if you get sad I will also get sad. Wait, why did I just think that?

 "I'm sorry" I tell her and I really mean it

"Ella, it's ok, really" She sighs. "I don't even know why I told you this, I don't really talk about my feelings"

"Well, if it makes you feel better I've never showed this place to anyone" I give her a smile. "Wanna listen to some music? It's kinda of a vibe to be honest"

"Sure Ella" She smirks and I play Nuts by Lil Peep, slowed version of course. If she keeps saying my name like that I'll have to do something about it.

"I love this song so much" She says and lays her head down. I do the same thing.

After a few minutes she moves her arm a little and it touches mine sending chills through my body. Ella what the hell? She just touched your arm, calm down. I notice she turned her head and started looking at me. I can't resist her so I turn my head too. Why are we both staring at each other like this?

I catch her switching her gaze to my lips for a split second and I panic inside. Should I kiss her? I don't have time to decide that because Anna leans in my direction. 

As I was closing my eyes, a scream from the frontyard makes us both separate really fast. 

"Anna!" Sab screams.

"Where are you Anna?" Eva yells .

"I got to go, sorry" She says, looking kinda sad we were interrupted. "Good night, El" El?

"Good night" I wave as she goes down the stairs.

Ok, what just happened and why is my heart beating so fucking fast?
