Chapter 48 - Nerves on edge

Ella's POV

I can't believe this. For real.

"What the fuck!" I say, getting closer to Megan and Mads, who are making out against my kitchen counter. Yes, you've heard that right.

As soon as they hear my voice Megan stops kissing her and looks at me.

"What the fuck you think you're doing?" I ask her with a really angry tone.

"Back off Ella, no one called you here" Mads says, making my blood boil even more.

"Shut up, I'm not talking to you" I say and notice a lot of people are looking at us.

"Excuse me?" Mads says, getting way too close.

"You heard me the first time, bitch" I say and now I'm the one getting closer. Her face is so punchable.

"Ella! Just relax" Megan says, going in my direction and pushing me away from Mads "Why are you so angry?"

I don't fucking know why this made me so mad. Maybe it's because I'm drunk. Maybe it's because Mads tries to take everything that's mine.

"Ella, just calm down and you guys can all talk later okay?" Anna says, making us realise some guys are filming it and it could probably end up on tea pages. When did she even get here?

"Fine, whatever!" I say, walking away from them. All of them.

Why would Megan kiss her? She knows Mads annoys the fuck out of me. She's supposed to be my friend.

I go to my backyard and sit down. Everything's blurry from the alcohol and some other people are also here, either talking or smoking.

"Ella" Someone says, sitting down next to me.

"What!" I'm pissed off, not really in the mood to talk to anyone. But when I look to my side I realise it's Anna. "My bad, didn't know it was you"

"Your fine" She says, sighing. "What was that all about?" She asks me, but to be honest I don't want to keep thinking about it.

"Nothing. Just let it go" I say, trying to get her to stop talking about it. I don't want to explain to her all the things Mads said to me. At least not right now.

"No" She says with an annoyed tone. "Why did you care so much about Megan kissing someone?" What?

"You're getting it all wrong" I reply, rolling my eyes.

"You know what" She says, getting up. "If that's what you want, then fine, whatever. Good night"

She leaves me alone again. Ugh. How did I get at this point? Everything was so good until like thirty minutes ago. And now Megan is probably confused and maybe mad. Anna is definitely mad. All thanks to Mads.

This girl needs to get the fuck out of my house right now. I get up and start looking around trying to find her but don't have any luck.

I need to find Megan too. We need to talk. Since she's sleeping over she could be in my room, so I go upstairs and walk into it. Empty. Where did everyone go?

I open my window to look at the street and see a few people. Oh. I spot Eva, Sab, Anna...and Mads. By her side.

They're walking back to their house and Mads puts her arm on Anna's waist, giving her an open. She wouldn't do anything with her just because she's angry with me...right?

But then Anna puts her arm on Mads shoulder. Is this really the game Anna wants to play?

To my surprise, Megan walks into my room.

I guess two can play a game, then.
