Ella's POV
After I left Anna's last night, it wasn't long until my phone started blowing up with notifications.
Liv: OK GET IT A text from Liv said, together with the link to Anna's tiktok.
So, I'm thinking that if Liv saw it, probably some people from my old highschool have also seen it. And my friends. Why am I nervous?
Ignoring everything, I try to concentrate on the show I'm watching on netflix. I do that until I fall asleep.
I woke up with sunlight invading my room. I tried finding my phone, only to realise that I hadn't plugged it in last night. Fuck, I hate when this happens.
Going downstairs, I see my mom cooking something in the kitchen.
"Good morning" I say and she turns to me.
"More like good afternoon" She says.
"What time is it?" I ask "My phone's dead"
"A little past noon" She answers. Oh, I did oversleep a little but whatever.
"Oh" I say, grabbing a box of cereal.
"What time did you even go to sleep?" She asks.
"I was just over at Anna's" And then it hit me. Why did I say that? She knows Anna is not just a friend.
"Ella! You can't just do whatever you want at this girl's house and come home whenever you want. You still live under my roof so you have to respect me!" What the hell. Why is she being such a bitch?
"First of all, "this girl" has a name, and it is Anna" I say, speaking with an angry tone "And you can't not make me not see her"
"That 's enough! You're grounded" She says as she slaps the table.
"Whatever" I say, leaving the room.
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't like the way she talks about Anna. I bet that if I was dating a boy she would even let him sleep over.
Getting into my room, I go directly to the bathroom. A shower would help me to cool down a little after this stupid argument.
Honestly, all I can think about is getting an apartment near UCLA, after I get in. If I get in.
Speaking of that, results are being informed next week. I'm so nervous.
After showering I put on some comfy clothes and finally check my phone which charged a little.
Oh my God.
