Chapter 11 - Overthinking

Anna's POV

Well that was weird. Why didn't she even look at me? What the fuck.

"Was she acting weird or was it just me that realized that?" I ask the girls

"Uhm I don't know, she seemed fine for me" Sab answers me

"Yeah, maybe she's just tired from the party and her mom was calling her" Eva replies

"Yeah I guess" I say to them and drop the subject. I don't wanna be suspicious anyways.

"Eva do you know that one 1,2,3 think I got you something dance?" Sab asks Eva and they get distracted doing tiktoks.

But I don't. I can't stop thinking about Ella. Why would she be upset? I need to talk to her, but I don't even have her number. I have the feeling that somethings wrong and I won't stop overthinking until I figure this out.

"Anna!!!!" Sab almost screams

"What? Oh my God"

"I've been saying your name for the last 5 minutes hahaha where's your mind at?" She asks

"Sorry I was just thinking of grabbing something to eat" I replied. I suck at lying.

"Oh ok. Let's just order something then" She says and we go back inside

A few hours have passed and I think Eva realized that I'm a little down, but she hasn't said anything yet. I wish I could talk to her about Ella, but I don't even know how to explain what we are. Oh, yeah, I might be falling for our neighbour, we made out, I can't stop thinking about her and now she won't even look at me. Just perfect.

Emma and Sab decided to watch a movie and invited us all. I wasn't in the mood so I just went to my room instead, maybe I can figure out a way to talk to El. As I was closing the door, I felt Eva's presence right behind me.

"Ok boon, spill. I know you better than anybody" She says and closes the door

Yeah I wish I could explain all this to her, but I don't know how.

"Plus, it's not like I didn't see both you and our neighbour with hickies" she stares at me and I blush, making a surprised face. "Yeah Anna, I know"

"Yeah, uhm, about that...." Ok she caught me.

I tell her about what happened at the party, not mentioning that I might have feelings for her, although I think she figured it out by now.

"The only way to figure out why she acted weird is talking to her" Eva says

"I know. But I don't have her number" I replied

"Maybe you can add her on other social media or" she was cut mit sentence by Connor calling her

"I'm gonna take this but I know you got this. Good luck. I love you" She says and leaves the room

"Thanks. Love you too" I say and close the door.

But wait. Her idea isn't bad at all. Sending her a dm on Insta would be kinda weird but I could add her on snap.

I think her last name was Brooksfield because I remember some guy at the party calling her that. I searched her name on insta and found it. Points to me, her snap was on the bio.

I go to snap and type her username. I notice that she was subscribed so when I added her, we became friends instantly, she didn't even need to accept me. I guess being tik tok famous has its advantages.

I added her. Not gonna lie, my heart was beating pretty fast. I refreshed and something caught my attention. She just posted a story.

Omg. I know this view pretty well. She's at the rooftop.
