Rocky and Zuma sat in the lobby too afraid to to even look Ryder in the eyes. "Dude I think we weally messed up." Zuma whispered to Rocky.
"Ryder are you mad at us?" Rocky asked sheepishly.
Ryder wasn't near mad at all. Maybe a bit disappointed. "No I'm not mad but you could've handled it a little better don't you think?" He asked
"Sowwy, I just panicked in the heat of the moment." Zuma apologized.
Ryder sighed, he didn't want his pups feeling down. "Look, next time make sure whoever hurt is okay then come see me." Ryder said with joyful eyes that cheered up Rocky and Zuma.
"Zuma, you're like the closest person I talk too." Rocky started out of nowhere. He said it silently enough so that it wasn't audible enough for Ryder not to hear.
"Dude if you say you'wre gay and you like me I'm gonna have to say it's an easy no, I don't do that." Zuma nervously chuckled.
"First of all I'm straight and I wanted to get your opinion." Rocky said.
Zuma needed to give Rocky some valuable advice. "Oh, dude don't open up sentences like that, maybe with your loved ones but not me. It sounds way to serious or like you're in love."
"Oh, so for the past month or so I've been... practicing the guitar." Rocky said expecting to get backlash in the form of jokes.
"Nice dude. For Skye?" Zuma asked.
"Kinda yeah, I was planning on doing it before but now I have an even better reason." Rocky nervously said.
"Rydew do you have a guitaw? Like in the twunk or something. You probably would knowing you." Zuma asked.
"I do actually, what for?" Ryder asked
"Wocky wants us to hear a sing he made for Skye." Zuma said putting him on the spot.

"Guys?" Rubble called out to the completely empty lookout.

"Sweat." Ryder said running outside.
"DUDE! What the heck?" Rocky said getting defensive.
"What. You act like we're gonna rate it 0/10. We could be the pre audience. Pretend I'm Skye and Ryder is also Skye." Zuma said putting a paw on Rocky's back.
Rocky sighed. There's was no way out. Zuma had thrown him to far in. "Fine *sigh"
Ryder walks inside with an old guitar and Rocky tests the strings.
Rocky sighs. "Wait before I start I want you to know this is a slower song. Not some crazy thing. And I meant for Skye so don't tell anyone close to her that I did this." Rocky said.
They both nodded.
Rocky started it off. At first was a solid 10 seconds of just pure warmth to the ear.
Rocky peeked up to see Zuma and Ryder intently leaning in.

"If you're hearing this
It's means it's for you
Because I don't know... I haven't even wrote most of the song."
"Mh, well you got the best down, just need the lyrics." Zuma said.
"Good thing I know how to help." Ryder said
"How?" Rocky asked
"Well, how does she make you feel?" Ryder started.
"I feel 10 times happier when I'm around her, she's good at solving life issues. I always go to her as a safety net." Rocky said.
"Good, safety net, 10 times happier, solving issues." Ryder said aloud. "What do you like about her?" Ryder asked again.
"First of all, she always smells nice. Like flowers and Strawberries. She understands me incredibly well. Thera to many things to like about her. How can someone not like her?" Rocky asked.
"I'm not sure, it would be weird for me to think of any dog like that." Ryder joked.
"Okay, now we need to find some more things and just try and smooth this baby out." Ryder said.

Skye knocked on the cold wooden door.
"Hey Everest!" Skye
"Skye! I didn't think you would be here so fast." Everest nervously chuckled.
"Well I drive a helicopter. I probably would've been here earlier but something held me up." Skye said shivering to the cold.
"Come in!" Everest offered moving out of the way for Skye.
Skye shook her body before walking in. "Ooh my paws were cold." Skye said feeling the warmth of the inside.
"Do the others get as cold as you?" Everest asked
"Chase and Rocky can handle it. I don't get it though. Rocky doesn't seem affected by weather. In the summer he looks fine with short fur and in the winter he looks fine with long fur. He can master both." Skye said.
"Perks of being a mix breed I guess." Everest said taking a seat.
"Yep, so next week there's going to Christmas ball..." Skye said.
"Cool we should go." Everest said. She looked at Skye with a weird look. She looked like she was about to explode.
"You need to have a date." Skye added.
"Okay, you seem to like this A LOT..." Everest said.
"Who couldn't! We finally get to get into serious relationships, it's another chapter of our life." Skye said.
"Whoah slow your horses, who do you even like?" Everest asked.
"So... not Zuma and R- maybe Rocky. He talks to me a lot when I don't ask him to talk. It's weird." Skye said.
"Well maybe he's giving you hints." Everest suggested.
"Possibly. I found him outside really late at night one time." Skye said.
"Right, so what held you up getting here?" Everest asked.
"Oh." Skye laughed "well you see, I guess Marshall, Zuma, and Rocky were playing tag or some and Marshall it a tree really hard." Skye said.
"Is Marshall okay? We should head down to go check on him." Everest said.
"We can't, it's take far to long for you to get down plus I'm sure he's fine." Skye said.

Chase opened the door to the pet parlor and saw Ryder, Rocky, and Zuma looking at a piece of paper. "What happened?" Chase said.
"Dude! I was chasing Marshall and he tried to loose me by wunning into those twees we have and he slammed into one!" Zuma explained.
"When was the last time you tried to say your R's?" Chase asked. "Also is he going to be okay?" Chase added.
"Yeah, I think." Ryder said.
Chase looked at the paper. It only took 3 lines to know what it was about. "You writing that for Skye?" Chase asked.
"How did you read it so fast?" Rocky asked.
"I didn't, Skye always smells like flowers. It's so consistent it's weird. Who knows what she really smells like." Chase shivered at the thought of normal Skye smell.
"I was gonna ask her out." Chase lied. He just wanted to see someone's reaction.
Rocky's face turned into a frown. "Hey hey hey I was just joking!" Chase said trying to cheer up Rocky.
"Oh... you won't ask her out?" Rocky asked.
"C'mon, even if I did she would choose you. You know that." Chase said.
"Wow, weally emotional right there." Zuma said wiping a fake tear off his face.
"So what are you gonna do? Write her a song or something?" Chase asked.
"The day before the ball is a full moon, hope I can sing it to her then."
Ryder's phone started to ring.
"Gimme a second." Ryder said walking to another corner of the room.
They all watched as Ryder talks while doing hand signals.
"Look, I can't take any of my pups right. Marshall is injured and someone needs to watch over him." Ryder said.
"I could watch over Marshall for a couple of days." Katie said through a window.
"You will? I think Rubble would wanna help too." Ryder offered.
"Okay, we'll be there." Ryder said hanging up and walking back to the chairs.
"Who was it?" Zuma asked.
"The princess, she's gonna host a party and wanted us to be there." Ryder said.
"Can we go?" Chase asked.
"No, I still need to figure out Sk-
"Hey Ryder, can I stay over at Jakes mountain for a couple of days?" Skye asked through the pup tag.
"Sure thing."
"Well then, guess we're going. Let me call Rubble over here so he can help Katie." Ryder said.
"When is the party?" Rocky asked.
"Tomorrow, we gotta leave today." Ryder said.
"Sweet, let's go!" Zuma said running outside. Chase and Rocky joined them.
They drove off across the bridge.
Ryder sighed. He gave the pups more and more space everyday. He has his team split up and now him and 3 others are gonna be across the continent.

"Yeah so I basically broke Marshall's ankles." Zuma said.
"But you were chasing him." Chase replied.
"Look forget about it, did you see anyone you like?" Zuma asked.
"Actually I did. Her name is gasket. It kinda creepy though because she looks like Everest but with a different fur pattern." Chase said.
"Of course it's her. Don't twust her dude, she leads to bad endings." Zuma said.
"You know her?" Chase asked.
"Yeah I know her, she's like a predator. Lures you in and then eats you." Zuma describes.
"And who are you asking?" Chase asked.
"Ella, no big deal." Zuma said.
"Ella? You're just gonna ask her and you'll think she'll say yeah?" Chase asked.
"Maybe flowers too." Zuma added.
Chase knew Zuma didn't have an issue with girls but was it really that simple?
They passed rubble on the bridge. "TIME TO PARTAAAAY!" Zuma howled.
