Very sorry for the late upload. I had some friends come over and lost track of time. Also this is the very last chapter of this story! Don't worry because luckily I'm in the middle of producing a part 2! Hope ya enjoy!
"*RUFF* EVER-
"I'm already up!" Everest yelled in annoyance. The megaphone was starting to get to her.
"Jeez okay"
"I really though you were gonna go to the Christmas thing." Everest said bringing it up.
Chase looked at her. "Not everyone is made for love." Chase replied.
"So you plan on dying alone with no kids?" Everest asked.
Chase was taken off guard by this statement. "Well uh... you didn't need to make it like I'm going to die a sad lonely old dog. That's dark. I don't know, I'm gonna become a detective. Thats for sure." Chase replied.
Marshall looked into Rocky's pup house. It was completely empty. "What is a romantic spot" he asked himself.
He started to walk on the edge of the lookout. After some time of walking he found Rocky and Skye asleep. Next to them was a broken guitar. Marshall started to slowly back away.
"I have no clue what they did last night but it must have been fun."
Marshall gasped. "At least make yourself known." Marshall says as he punches Zuma playfully.
"Let them sleep it out. We gonna pawtayyyyy" Zuma quietly cheered.
"When does it start?" Marshall asked.
"I'm not suwe" Zuma whispered back.
They walked into the lookout and Marshall got tackled by Everest the moment he stepped in. Zuma moved away from that and the lookout looked more alive than the past weeks. "Oh... Lola! You'we hewe." Zuma said.
"Yup."
Zuma looked around. The only other option he really had was Chase, Ryder and Katie. From what he can see Chase is just watching them talk.
"Hey guys!" Zuma said as he walked up to them.
"Good morning Zuma, we're waiting on Rocky and Skye." Ryder said.
"Do you know where Wocky and Skye awe?" Zuma asked
"Chase does." Ryder replied.
Zuma rolled his eyes. "Of couwse." Zuma said.
"You look bored, I could invite Tuck and Ella over if you want." Ryder suggested.
"Sure." Zuma said as he wagged his tail.
Zuma trotted away."You're not gonna win!" Marshall grunted. Everest had him down. Marshall wriggled around but it was useless.
"I can stand on you all day." Everest said.
"F-fine.... I give up." Marshall sheepishly said.
Everest got off.
"I really thought Marshall was gonna win." Rocky said.
"What do you mean? Everest is stronger than him." Skye replied. She looked almost offended.
"What?!? Marshall probably knows all kinds of stuff about the dog body." Rocky replied.
"Alright pups! Time to eat!" Ryder exclaimed. They all ran over to the table and started to chow down on their kibble.
"Alrighty! We got about 30 minutes! Everyone go do what you need to do. It shouldn't be much." Ryder orders.
"I invited Tuck and Ella over as well" Ryder said to Chase and Zuma.
Chase spent most of his night contemplating if he really liked Gasket or not. She definitely was pretty but looks can only go so far. He regretted not trusting Zuma.
Everyone ran outside besides Chase and Ryder. "Uh...." Ryder started.
They all ran back in with their ugly sweaters and Christmas glasses. "Oh, I didn't expect at all." Ryder says as he analyzes everyone's appearances.
They presented him his own ugly sweater.
"Thanks you guys!" He said as he slid it on.
It had some very questionable writing on it. It said "this is an ugly" then a picture of a donkey and finishing with the word "sweater."
"Clever!" Ryder said.56 minutes 24 seconds .54 milliseconds later
"Alright, we're gonna get going! You two don't do anything dumb like break something." Ryder said.
"I won't! If tuck tries to I'll stop him." Chase joked.
"Yeah right." Tuck scoffed.
They waved and Ryder walked out. "They might be partying for 10 hours! Even more!" Chase said, letting out a groan of boredom.
"Well, what can we do for 10 hours?" Tuck asked.
"We could take a nap now, skip a couple of hours, then we'll do something." Chase suggested.
Tuck wasn't fond of the idea of taking a nap. But Chase was probably right in the first place. "Fine."
They both stared at the ceiling. "I'm not tired at all." Tuck said.
"Me neither." Chase added.
"Wanna watch a documentary on pandas?" Tuck asked.
"Umm, sure I guess. Why pandas?" Chase asked.
Tuck shrugged. "I heard pandas are too dumb to have kids so they are going extinct." Tuck explained.
Chase slid his paw over too the remote and turned on the TV. He scrolled through Disney plus. "Here's one." Chase pointed out.
"Jesus 3 hours long?" Tuck spat out. How does someone spend 3 hours narrating for pandas he thought.
They sat down and made some popcorn for the long show ahead.
