If you follow me already you can skip this. To the people who don't I made an announcement yesterday basically saying that I'm going to be updating this story every 3 days starting today. So yeah.... uh. Enjoy
Rocky stretched his legs. He looked at his clock and it read 12:30 AM. He yawned. A drink of water wouldn't be so bad for him.
He slides open the door and walks outback into the cold air. Every breath he took was visible to the naked eye. He could see the silhouette of someone sitting on the edge of the cliff. He sighed as he walked into the lookout to toss on some shoes and a beanie. He could see snow falling a lot more than previously. It was starting to reach higher and higher.
The moon was bright as day. He could clearly see Rubble staring out into the ocean. Now Rocky had another question. How does it snow if they live on the coast. "Rubble? What are you doing out here? Without any clothes." Rocky asked.
"I couldn't sleep, I decided to come out for some air." Rubble weakly says. To him he sounded fine but Rocky Rocky knew something was up.
Rocky felt something sharp hit him. He turned around and saw Zuma. "Okay Rubble, make sure you get some sleep."
"Why are you awake?" Rocky asked as he got behind a bush.
Zuma looked at Rubble. "I've been watching him fow the past 2 days. It's weiwd." Zuma said.
"Ima go see what's with him. He sounded.... depressed and shaky." Rocky describes.
"Okay, I'll watch." Zuma said.
Rocky walks back up to Rubble. "You okay? It's cold out here" Rocky said inching closer to his face.
Rubble didn't respond.
Rocky got closer and could see the remains of tears. "Were you crying?"
"A little, you guys all have dates and I don't have one." Rubble sighed.
Rocky sighed. "Well have you tried?" He asked. Rocky though Rubble was the last person to start crying because he couldn't find someone to take to the dance.
"Yeah, it just never works." Rubble replied.
"Look, I know a guy who can help you out. Trust me and sooner or later you'll have a date." Rocky assured as he patted his back.
"Really?" Rubble said sniffing up his tears and perking up his ears as much as he could.
"Yup, now let's get inside. It's cold out here." Rocky shivered.

Ryder sighed, he dropped the paper and laid back. He didn't know what he could do. He didn't know anybody that didn't have parents. Maybe he could ask....nobody. Most of the pups had light connections with their parents. "Hey Ryder, can we go out and eat?" Rocky asked.
He could see Ryder was contemplating something. "You okay? Also have you seen Rubble?"
"Who's going with you?" Ryder asked.
"Me, Zuma and Chase." Rocky says.
"Alright." Ryder smiled.

Rocky ran down he stairs. "Adventure trio!" He shouted.
"We should weally make a catch phrase." Zuma said.
"Hey Marshall." Chase said as Marshall watched from a far. He wondered where Skye and Everest was.
"You guys made a group without me?" He asked.
"Guys, I think I'm gonna hang back with Marshall." Chase whispered.
"But the trio..." Rocky replied.
"Yeah dude, can't be a twio with just two. That's just a duo." Zuma said.
Chase felt bad. He didn't wanna choose between friends. He didn't want to leave one hanging and one be sad for a couple hours. "I don't want Marshall hating me. You guys can go do that Rubble thing without me." Chase smiled.
"Alright, see ya!" Rocky and Zuma said as they ran out.
"You didn't need to stay." Marshall said. He started to feel bad.
Chase didn't mind. "It's alright, they wanted to go find Rubble a girlfriend." Chase explains. "Where is everyone else?"
"Rubble has been all over the place. I'm not sure where Skye and Everest went." Marshall shrugged.
They both stared at each other. They hadn't been left alone in forever. Just the two of them. "This whole valentines thing got in the way." Marshall sighed.
"It's a Christmas ball not valentines thing." Chase corrected.
"Right, I bet I could beat you at battle ship." Marshall challenged.
"I'm a master battle strategist. You chose the wrong board game." Chase replied.

"Dude it snowed a lot last night." Zuma points out as he raises his feet up high to take a step.
"Let's just take the hover craft. We can't drive our vehicles in this snow like this." Rocky sighed.
While driving they could see 3 buildings under construction. "What do you think those are?"
"Pwobably some store or something." Zuma replied.
They jumped out of the hovercraft and looked at the road ahead of them. An arcade, fast food place and a park similar to the beach one. "This feels kinda messed up, Rubble loves these things but I feel like we're implying that Rubble is.... chubs." Rocky said feeling a little guilty.
"Look Wocky, me and you awen't the most populaw paw patwol membews. If for example Chase or Marshall was here anyone would date Wubble just to get close to them. So, we're going to find people like Wubble." Zuma explained.
"Are we not as popular as Chase and Marshall?" Rocky asked.
"I know you don't head onto the internet much but every time thewe's a news line about us both of them are always the fwont covew. I don't wanna seem like a jewk but I'm a little better than you." Zuma jokes.
"As if, I'm in way more missions that you!" Rocky said.
"Look, sometimes people don't cawe about how skilled you awe. I'm pwetty sure half of the people who favowr those two dweam about them. Marshall's popularity will drop the moment people find he's going to be dating Everest." Zuma added.
Rocky was loosing belief in Zuma's statements. "I don't think we're that popular." Rocky replied.
"Oh, we awe. People write these weiwd FanFictions about us man. Some of them are scawy detailed. Some even have me and you dating! That just ew!" Zuma said almost gagging at the thought. (No hate towards anybody!)
"Okay! Okay! Let's go in. I wanna be inside." Rocky said.
Zuma rushed into the arcade. Rocky follows along.
In the arcade they saw all kinds of kids, games, and dogs. Zuma was tempted to just go and play the games. "I'll go over hewe where the awrcades awe, you go check the mowre bowing games." Zuma said.
"Alright." Rocky agreed.
