Paw Patrol : Procrastinated

Chapter 7

Not much to sayagain, I gotta start saying more things at the beginning of these.

The pups sat in front of their table eating the usual kibble they buy from Katie's. Rubble was racing Everest. It wasn't looking to good for him. The other pups tried to eat their food while canceling out their crunching noise. Rocky and Marshall had the hardest time since they were sitting next to the two.

*burp* "DONE!" Everest exclaimed flipping the bowl to show everyone. Soon after Rubble was done.
"FINALLY!" Zuma said with his mouth full. He was happy to see that someone could beat Rubble.
"Loudest crunching I've ever heard." Rocky added.
The other pups agreed. "At least somebody beat Rubble." Chase said as he finished up his food.
They all sorta sat around. "Crazy how fast a couple of weeks drop down to 5 days." Rubble said laying back.
"Have you found a date?" Everest asked Rubble.
"Yeah it's been a week, have you made any tries?" Skye added.
Rubble scoffed. "Yeah.... maybe one or two tries, not like you guys have anyone you're going with." He fired back.
4 of the pups looked around. "Y-yeah, I was just wondering no need to take it personal." Everest lied. Marshall made it blatantly obvious that he was planning to ask her to the ball.
Rocky still hadn't attempted his song. He was thinking about doing it the day before the dance. He hoped it would guilt trip her into agreeing. It felt scummy but who knows of it works or not.
Ryder walked in holding a small black box. "I think now is a good time to show you since everybody is here." He smiled.
Zuma started to get everyone to look at Ryder. He wanted to show his hard work.
Ryder opens the box and reveals a shiny diamond. "How did you buy that?" Skye asked.
"So... turns out the queen was going to give it away but Zuma saved it from the bottom of the lake. Chase and Rocky were there too." Ryder says.
He passed it to the pups who carefully pick it up making sure not to drop it. They had never held a diamond before.
"So, where should we put it? For display?" Ryder asked.
All the pups looked towards Skye and Marshall.
"What?" They both asked.
"You two are like the maids of the house. Cleaning, putting stuff away and things like that." Rubble said.
"Only fair that you two can decide." Rocky added.
Skye and Marshall looked at each other. "Give us some time." Marshall said as him and Skye stood up.
"Look at that, Everest is stuck with us." Chase said.
"Yeah, you've been busy with Mawshall since you got here. No time fow us to talk to you." Zuma added.
"It's not the end of the world guys, I'm still gonna be here in 3 months. Plus I doubt the paw patrol is ever gonna end." Everest said....
Marshall and Skye ran back in. "What if we put it at the top of the lookout? It's simple and it would look nice." Skye suggested.
"Sure, I'll take the stairs up there." Ryder said.
Marshall and Skye ran to the elevator. "You guys coming?" Marshall asked.
The others ran into the elevator. For the first time they weren't on their backs.

"Alright, last break in before we go for the diamond?" A feminine voice said.
"Yep, once we get the diamond we go. While everybody is at the ball we can go get it..... what if it's in a safe?" A second voice asked.
"It's fine, we'll just take thermite charges. Plus you need to get more information. Then we'll leave adventure bay for good and it'll be like we were never here." A 3rd voice said.
"Let's do this."
"First let's rob something we haven't robbed."

"Hey Ryder! Can I go to Katie's with Marshall, Zuma, and Rocky?" Chase asked.
"Yeah, do you need a bath or something?" Ryder asked.
"No i just wanted to say hi." Chase lied. It hurt him internally to lie but he desperately needed their help with this.
"We'll go with you but make it quick." Marshall said. He was planning on spending even more time with Everest.
They hopped into their vehicle and looked at the road. It has been awhile since it revealed itself. The snow has been covering adventure bay for what seems like forever.
"So what's going on?" Marshall asked.
"I think Katie's pet parlor is gonna get robbed next. The robberies slowed down to just once a week.." Chase explained.
"What do you need us for?" Rocky asked.
"Help me catch at least one of them. There's 3 and without you I would definitely not catch one. But with you 3 here there's definitely a chance." Chase said. He believed they could do it. In every robbery they didn't have a firearm....According to the very little amount of witnesses.
"Park the vehicles behind the building." Chase orders as he turns into an alley.
They all jumped out. "So what's the plan?" Rocky asked.
"Right, Marshall. You and me are gonna block the entrance when they walk in. Rocky and Zuma are going to hide and jump out. Both go for one of the robbers. I'll go for a different one and Marshall you help Rocky and Zuma." Chase said.
"Alright." Zuma said putting his paw in.
"Oh." Chase said putting his paw in as well.
The other followed suit. "What do we say?" Zuma asked.
"Go team." Rocky replied.
"Ready?"
"1...2...3 GO TEAM!" They all exclaimed.
Chase and Marshall hid behind a trash can as Rocky and Zuma went to go find a hiding spot inside the building.
