Merry Christmas After All! (Part 2)

Hope everyone had an amazing holiday and didn't eat to much!!!

(Sutton POV)

C2 and I had texted for the past three days, and some was quite flirtatious. Today was Christmas Eve. I was utterly excited we where in Dallas for at my grandmother's house, but tomorrow we would be going home. I already had plans to go out with C2.

We eat dinner and opened presents. I got a ton of clothes books, and got beats from Santa! Things were not so merry that morning though. At 1;45 A.M. all the electricity went out and the house alarm went off and woke the whole house up. We packed up and left at 10 the power still wasn't back on.

The rode was icy and we hydroplaned into the ditch once! Thank God for four wheel driving!!! I thought we'd never get home. Finally after about two hours we got home. I called C2 he was busy with his family and I was kinda tired myself so we decided to meet tomorrow at a coffee shop not far from here to at noon.

I was so excited that night I could barely sleep. I knew it was a long shot but it never hurt to have a little bit of hope!

(C2 POV)

I was really excited I couldn't go to sleep. I picked that coffee shop out of town because I didn't want the guys to find out. I knew Aiden had confused feelings about her. I didn't mean to like her I didn't think I would at first. Where complete opposites. She was intelligent, athletic,beautiful, and she was pretty funny too. I was pretty good looking, athletic enough and I loved band. She hated Reese's and said peanut butter and chocolate should never go together. I disagreed, whoever said opposites attract was a pretty smart dude.

I don't know why Aiden gave her up the way he did. I'd only know her for three days just talking to her and I was already falling for the girl. I couldn't get my hopes up though she could totally want nothing to do with me. I could be some rebound guy to make Aiden jealous, but I don't think he'd care too much.

He did break up with her and he has Megan and Taylor to crush on. I hadn't felt this way for a girl in a long time. If something did happen though and we started dating everyone would find out. You can't keep things like that a secret. As much as I was worried about our relationship I was worried about how people would react more.

(Sutton's POV)

 

When I woke up in the morning I was freezing. It was still snowing outside, but I didn't care what the weather brought. Come Hell or High water I was not missing this coffee almost date.

I eat some breakfast then decided what to wear. I dressed warmly in jeans, snow boots a shirt/sweater, and my favorite pea coat. I got into my car and headed out early getting through this snow would probably take a while.

It took about an hour to get 20 miles from my house. When I finally arrived I was a few minutes late I hate being late! I looked around the shop it looked completely deserted. Until in the corner I saw a boy with dark brown hair and pale blue eyes.

I noticed him before he saw me. He was just sitting there staring into his coffee. Thinking hopefully otherwise he'd look insane. I sat down and his eyes shot up. There sitting in front of me was a salted Carmel mocha cappuccino.

"You remembered" I said shocked.

"You told me two days ago my memory isn't that bad!"

"And you said you hated coffee!"

"I do this Is hot chocolate" he smirked and I was a goner!

Those deep pale blue eyes a girl could get lost in and little freckles that danced across his nose. The cutest dimples when he smirked like that. I know I was trying not to get to attached but with this boy it was going to be hard.

We talked for quite a while. Telling stories, playing 20 question, and sipping our drinks. Three hours flew by and I hadn't even realized it yet. When I looked on my phone I couldn't believe it as we were walking out the door he said " Are you playing in the game on New Year's EVe and going to Drew's party?"

"Yes I'm playing, and I don't know maybe" It was the truth I didn't know if I wanted to be around all those people when I was just happy enough with C2.

"Well I'm gonna go to your game and you should come it would be fun see ya then." Then he kissed me on the cheek got in his car and drove off. I just stood there in  the snow my body freezing except for my cheek I could still feel the warmth of his lips against it and it sent flutters down my spine.

After I finally made it to my car I was still in shock he kissed me. Well on the cheek but it still counted. I was eager for more and was very excited for not only our games on New Year's Eve, but maybe even something else?
