Hope everyone's having a good spring break! Mine sucks! But anyway enjoy the chapter.

(Sutton Pov)

I was glad the next week was spring break. I went to my grandparents on Sunday and Monday. It was okay got a lot of shopping done and tried to push you know out of my mind.

Tuesday I went back home and my parents trying to lighten my mood got me a puppy! She was a miniature schnauzer named Primrose or Prim for short. That really made me happy.

Today was Wednesday we had softball practice at 11. As I was headed to practice I over heard some girls talking.

"Yah did Aiden?" The first girl said.

"Yah he's dating that girl from Kerville." Said girl number two.

"That not all heard. I heard Sutton Trenton, you know desperately in love with Aiden when he dumped her and she tried to date C2 to make him jealous. Well she told that girl Mary to back off of her man and her and Mary started fighting and Aiden and Derek had to break it up." First girl was about to get ass whooped then I heard the whistle blow.

By the time I round the corner they were gone everyone was already lined up.Lily walked up behind me.

"Hurry up, and be my partner." She said with a fist full of sunflower seeds in her mouth.

We began tossing the ball back and forth. I wasn't really paying attention and Lily noticed. She threw the ball way off over the fence we both walked away from everybody to go get it.

"What's up with you. I thought you were doing better?" She asked. She didn't beat around the bush. I told what I had overheard and that I didn't know who it was.

"'I'll kill 'em! Or better yet I'll whip them so bad they wish they were dead," She threatened. She talked really big but Lily was as tame as a pussy cat. 

"You don't even know who they were Lily!"

"Well whoever they are they don't need to be talking about shit they know nothing about! I was there I know what happened!" By that time we were back on the field and we were starting a pop fly drill.

After practice the girls had a surprise for me. To cheer me up we all went to Frisco to go shopping and to go to the best place in the world.....pause for dramatic effect...... Dave N' Busters! I loved that place! All the games, fun, and the food was amazing! For a little while I completely forgot about Aiden and Mary and just had fun.

But all fun things come to an end. We came back home and everyone went back home to their own houses.

When I got back to my house I had a text from Derek ~ Call me urgent!~

What could he want?

I dialed his number. "Hello Sutton did you hear about Aiden?"

"What happened?" What had he done now I thought.

"He's face book officially dating that Mary girl," he said her name like it was a disease.

"Good for him," I tried to sound happy, but I was a horrible liar.

"Don't be happy! This is horrible what about Aitten?"

"What?" I was confused.

"Aiden and Sutton together y'all are meant for each other!" He practically screamed into the phone.

" Well we haven't been meant for each other in a while and it would be Suden not Aitten."

"Well whichever but you two were in love and he was so happy and I knew you were too."

"Well Derek that was a long time ago it's over he's over me and it's been over for a while and I tried to move on too,"

"Yah with Landry and Gay2 they were just rebounds," Derek was partially right.

"Whatever Derek the point is it's over we just need to drop it."

"Okay whatever you want Sutton. But I know you're not over him and to be honest I don't think he's completely over you either." And with that he hung up the phone.

And I was left alone sitting there wondering if Aiden was still wondering about me.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Hope everyone had a lovely spring break but it went by way to fast!

I'll try to update soon but with school on Monday who knows!
