New Year's Eve

                                   Hey, Happy New Year Everybody I'm excited for 2013!!

(Sutton POV)

Today was New Year's Eve and to say I was excited would be correct! I'd texted C2 Non-Stop for six days. He was coming to the game today and keeps trying to convince me to go to Drew's party tonight.

I was getting everything ready for basketball. I was so nervous because C2 was coming. I wasn't worried about the game we were playing Valley High. We should win easily. I'm afraid he's gonna walk in I'm not gonna be paying attention and get nailed with a ball. It happened a lot with Aiden.

When I got to the gym all the girls and guys were there. The JV girls were about to start and we just sat on the bleachers and kinda watched. It took forever but the girls won.

Right before the JV boys started C2 walked in. He was just wearing jeans and a black T-shirt but he was good enough for me. We weren't suppose to talk to the fans until after we played so he waved at me and winked. My face must have turned scarlet because when I turned around Lily was staring at me.

"So how are things going between you two?" Lily whispered into my ear

"I'll tell you later" I hissed I didn't want somebody to over here us it was a secret for now. I didn't want people to now unless I was sure I liked him. Lily shrugged and we waited until half time and then shot a little then went back in the locker room prayed and got pumped up for the game!

We won 56-11 it was a good yet boring game. They were the most apologetic girls ever. They kept saying sorry! I was very confused! After the game most of the girls were gone and it was just Lily and me.

"What are you doing tonight" I asked Lily

"I don't play with my cat watch Tristan wanna come over ( Tristan and Isolde my favorite movie:)?"

"Well as exciting as that sounds I'm thinking about going to Drew's party"

"You want to be around a bunch of drunks trying to get into each other pants and Aiden will be there and I know you don't wanna see him"

"But C2 was asking me if I was going and I want to see him"

"Invite him over to my house we'll make our own party!" Lily announced

"Seriously!" I asked very excited now!

"Sure but only tell C2 I'll invite a couple more people okay and this way you'll have more time with C2 and won't have to worry about drunk sluts all over him!"

"Okay thanks!"

I walked out of the locker room right as Aiden  dunked the ball. Show off I muttered. I was over him wasn't I?

C2 was waiting for me by my car. "Hey" I said and he motioned to take my athletic bag

"Dang Sutton, why's your bag so heavy?" I had a ton of not just athletic stuff, but stuff to get ready for tonight.

"I'm a high matniece girl."

"I can tell so about tonight are you going?"

"I have a better Idea. Instead of going to that party with a bunch of drunks how about we go to Lily's."

"Really she hates me!'

"Your mean to her!"

"Am not" he pouted like a little baby!

"Do you wanna go or not?" I asked

"Ohh I wanna go so who all's gonna be there?"

"You, Me, Lily, Emma, Juan, and maybe Kirsten and her boyfriend"

"Ok I'm In I'll be at Lily's at 8, 9 at the latest"

"Ok I'll see you then."

He kissed my check again and walked to his truck. I barely got into my car with freaking out! He was going to Lily's and I might kiss him at midnight.

I drove to Lily's house beyond excited!!!

"What he say?' Lily asked when I walked through the door.

"He said Yes!" I screamed!!

"Awesome time to make you look fabulous!!" And we started getting ready!

(C2 POV)  8 o'clock

I was just finishing getting ready I took a shower shaved and mad myself look presentable. I hopped into my truck excited about tonight. I was determined since I didn't get to kiss her under the miseltoe. Midnight on New Year's would have to do!

I drove about a mile to Lily's. I saw Sutton, Juan, and Kirsten's cars in the front yard. I was the last one awesome. I didn't know what to do should I knock or just walk in? I decided to knock. When the door was opened it was Sutton and she looked like a goddess in that dress. Her hair was curled and she had make-up on not that she needed it she was always so beautiful!

"Hi" she said kinda quiet she was never quiet.

"Hello" I said and walked in. Emma and Juan were making out in the corner, Kirsten was sitting on her boyfriends lap playing with his hair, and Lily was on the floor playing with her cat. ( Yes Lily is a crazy cat lady)

We made small talk about not wanting to go back to school and life in general. We watched some chick flick and all the girls cried. I'm not quite sure why they were crying, but hey at least I got to hold Sutton while she sobbed. We watched the ball drop in New York at 11 and before we knew it, it was 11:57.

Every had gone to a room to share a new years kiss. I lead Sutton out on the front lawn and just held her. I stared into her deep green eyes and leaned in and kissed her. Her lips were soft like kissing a baby. We heard the neighbors shoot off fireworks, but I didn't stop I never wanted this to end this moment right here was perfect. After I don't know how long she pulled away her eyes gleaming!

(Sutton POV)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! HE KISSED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE ACTUALLY KISSED ME AT MIDNIGHT!!!!!!!

I'd been kissed lots of times. I'd made out with Aiden alot, but it never felt like this I had butterflies in my stomach and my lips were going crazy! I pulled away to breath and looked into his eyes. Those pale blue eyes and his cute little nose splashed with freckles.

If you would have told me last year when I kissed Aiden New Year's Eve that I'd be doing it with C2. I would have thought you were crazy! I was so unbelievably happy in this moment. I pulled him closer and kissed back. I had a feeling 2013 would be a pretty good year!
