~Alison~

Chloe soon fell asleep on the pullout bed, of course Mom offered to let her sleep on the her bed but Chloe denied it. After Chloe fell asleep, Courtney and I need to talk about the whole dad thing. I pulled Courtney out of the room and into the hallway.

"What now, Alison?" She hissed and I knew she's only bitchy when's she tried.

"Do you think we should confront Mom about the whole dad thing?" I asked her. Courtney looked unease about the subject, "Courtney we need to, especially because of Chloe. And what better time is now, when Dad isn't here?"

My sister paused for a second and thought about what I said, "Okay, let's do it. But I swear we have to find out about Chloe, I swear if she isn't our sister. I think I might kill myself." Courtney started to walk back towards the door, but I grabbed her arm.

"Don't say that, Courtney. I might hate you and all, but I could never live with myself if you kill yourself. You know that. Especially because we're twins, it don't want to lose my other half." I whispered, as my eyes started water talking about it.

Courtney's eyes even started to water, "Love you too, sis." She pulled me into a hug and held me tight.

I was the first to pulled away and saw a tear go down her cheek. I wiped her tear with my thumb, "Come on, let's go talk to Mom."

Courtney smiled and opened the door. I followed behind her as she went inside, she stopped in front of Mom's bed and climbed onto it. While I did the same thing. "Mom, we need to talk."

Mom quickly put down her book that she was reading. "What's up?"

Courtney cleared her throat, "We know that dad isn't our real Dad, Mom. And we would like to know," Courtney choked up and she was on the edge of tears. I quickly grabbed Courtney's hand, telling her it was okay.

I quickly continued on from what she said, "We would like to know if Chloe has the same dad." I continued.

Mom bit her lip, "How did you find out?"

I quickly told how I knew from when I was at school one day and how I followed her. My mother looked at me upset, "I do not like you following me, Alison."

"I had to know, Mom." I paused, "But why Peter Hastings? Why did you chose him?" I questioned.

Our mother sighed, "Peter and I were together in high school. Once we graduated, we went our separate ways. While in college, I met your father. Soon, we got married and I pregnant with Jason." She explained.

"After I gave birth to Jason, about two years later Peter came down to Connecticut for a business trip. We met up, and it ended with us having sex. And me being stupid, I didn't make sure he was wearing protection and I wasn't on the pill." Our mother reached out and grabbed our hands, "Then I was pregnant with you two."

"Does Dad know we're not his?" Courtney asked her.

Our mother nodded, "Yes, I told him after it happened and I refused to give you two up. Soon he finally agreed to the fact I wasn't giving you up and he was going to be a dad again."

"Chloe?" I asked.

Our mother sighed and took in a deep breath, "Your father and I had a hard time getting pregnant again. Of course Peter knew, he wanted to be in your life's. He wanted to take you two away from us and raise you as his daughters, but I told him no." She continued. "Soon, we became really desperate. Your father and I both got tested, and we found out he could no longer had children. We talked and we finally agreed for the best thing." Our mother just left us there, not adding on.
