My One True Love(A Fred Weasley x Reader)

Pretty Boy Diggory

I had just finished eating my breakfast in the great hall when I was packing up my stuff. I saw Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff boy who was in my year, walk over to me. 

"Hey Y/n," He nodded. 

"Hey, Ced!" I smiled and then continued packing up my things. Cedric and I had always been really good friends. We had most of our classes together considering we were in different houses. "What have you been up to?"

"Nothing, just chilling basically in my common room," He said and then smiled at me. For some reason, I could feel the slightest redness creep up on my face. I checked the time and realized that it was almost time for my first class. 

"I'm sorry Ced, but I have to get to Charms," I waved goodbye and then ran out of the great hall. I met up with the twins outside of the class. They were standing there talking to each other. "Hey guys," I walked up behind them. 

"Hey L/n," Georgie said and then smiled. Fred on the other hand was glaring at me. 

"What's got your wand all up in a knot?" I asked as the tiny professor shooed us into the classroom. I sat in between the twins. 

"Nothing, just saw you talking to pretty boy Diggory," He added and then stormed off to sit next to Angelina. 

I for some reason got so upset over this. "Georgie, do you know why Fred is so mad at me?" I turned towards him. 

"It's probably because he beat us last year at quidditch," George said. I looked back at Fred who was casually laughing with Angelina. 

"I really hope your right," I said under my breath so that nobody could hear it. 

About twenty minutes later, me and George were walking out of the class. We went to the courtyard because we both had a free period. As we were walking I noticed Cedric was sitting there with his friends. I walked over to him.

"Hey Ced," I said as I sat down next to him. "Hi Cedric's friends." I smiled at them. They just gave me all dirty looks. "Um, did I do something?"

"Cedric, let's go we don't want to hang out with a Slytherin," One of the boys said.

"Oh, well then I'm just going to go," I walked back over to George and we sat down on a bench talking. A few minutes later, Fred walked out talking with Angelina. He must have spotted us becuase he walked right over.

"Hey guys," He said as he sat down on the grod infron of us. Angelina then sat next to him conjurng a blanket to sit on. "Y/n, have you met Angelina?"

I shook my head, "I don't think we have. I've seen her around the school and heard her name, but I've never actually talked to her before."

"Oh, well nice to meet you Y/n. It's a pleasure," She smiled.

"Pleasure to meet you too,"

Cameron and Camille then walked over to us. "Hey Y/n, I think Diggory is looking for you. He says that he needs to talk to you," Cameron said.

"Thanks," I said to my friends and then got up and walked back into the castle with them. "Why do you think he wants to talk to me?" I questioned. They just shrugged.

We walked to where Cedric was, "Y/n, we'll meet you in the common room."

"Alright, bye guys!" I waved goodbye to my friends as I saw them walk back to the dungeons. "Hey Cedric, what did you want to talk to me about?"

"I just wanted to apologize for my friends behavior earlier," He nodded. "They sometimes just don't get that not all Slytherins are bad people."

"Its fine," I responded, "I kind of got used to it."

"Well, you shouldn't have to," He said and then came a little closer to me. He put a peice of my hair behind my hair. I leaned my head against his forehead. Soon enough, he filled the gap in between us, as he kissed me.

I kissed back, but I could tell there was no sparks or fireworks. It's not that he was a bad kisser or anything, it just didn't feel right. I pulled back and smiled. "I have to get back to my dorm," He nodded and then I walked back thinking about what just happened.
