LEES POV
On the way to the cathedral I try to picture who Havoc is. Someone I know? Someone I don't know? Does anyone "seek vengence" on me? Well, other than Viola that is. Thier Noise is different. More... organized and put together, unlike the hundreds of men with jumbled thoughts about women and escaping and surviving. I'm in a wagon-type carriage with a soldier escort. This was all that we could salvage from all of the wreckage of the wars. I can tell we're on a dirt-path-road because of the bumps and shaking of the cart. I told the soldeir I needed to grab some useful things from the cathedral, and he actually beleived me.
The horses slow to a stop, which means we've reached the destination. I can hear the soldier start to get out of the cart so not knowing who waits in there I say, "Oh it's okay really, I'm just grabbing a few things, give me five minutes. Ten tops." I can hear the uncertanity in the soldier's Noise but he just says, "Alright, but hurry it up, you're lucky I let you out of the Hospital in the first place."
I leave with a humph not needed to be reminded that I'm not very welcomed at the Hospital anymore. The only reason I'm still there is probably because there isn't anywhere else to go, and I'm blind. I walk through the rubble where I can still see some livestock bands with numbers like 3028 and 1435. Then I feel something like a blanket of fog covering my Noise, making me unaware of what's around me...or who's around me.
"So glad you could meet me." Says a voice, a girl voice. Havoc? I'm so suprised I yelp in fear, I shout out to the soldier so he doesn't come in. "Don't worry everything's fine! Just some rats that's all!" The soldier doesn't come in.
"Who are you? Where are you? Why are you giving me these weird vial things? And what do you have against Todd?"
"Nevermind those petty questions." Havoc responds. I can hear a hint of English accent in her voice. Sounds familiar...
Then the oddest thing happens, another voice comes from the opposite direction.
"What do we have against Todd? Oh nothing, he's actually quite charming. It's what we have against the Ask and all of the soldiers that were once part of it."
I think about this. Why would they care? The war is over anyways. Right?
"Why do you care?" I say reciting my thoughts.
"Oh we care a great deal, Leeson."
I'm so shocked at what they just called my I stumble backwards and catch myself. No one knows my real name. No one alive that is...Then it hits me.
"Yes, I can see the revealing understanding in your eyes." Says one of the voices.
They both step out of the fog of Noise and through the soldiers Noise behind them, I know who it is. Wait, the soldier behind them.
Before I know hwat I'm doing I yell, "Watch out! Soldier behind you!" I hear a bang.
The soldiers Noise is gone... and so is he.
My mother and my sister just killed a soldier, and I helped them.
