Chapter 4

Its been almost two months working for B.A.U . Alice loves the job so much. She still can't shake what she feels for Hotch. He had gone on and off with Hayley this whole time. When it was off she noticed the sudden glances. When it was on he completely ignored her. None of that mattered now because she was going on her 4 date from the guy Colin from the bar. She was done watching for Hotch and it was super inappropriate and it could never work with Strauss still being the boss. She walks into her closet picking out a nice pink low cut top and some dress slacks. She grabs some pink gloss applying before grabbing her coffee cup on the way out. It was only 7:10 so she was making excellent time. She sips her drink arriving to the office around 7:20. She texts Reid," Morning handsome."
Reid texts," You are up early? I'll be in the office around 8. I need food."
She texts," Ok ill see you at 8. Trying to come in early and leave early. I got a date with Colin."
Reid says," You know that guys a douche right ?"
Alice texts back," Trying not to profile immediately been nice so far."
She walks in putting her phone on her desk. Hotch walks by scaring her and says," Good morning. You're early Agent."
She looks up and Mets his eyes. Alice says," Good morning Hotch."
Hotch smirks and says," oh no smart comeback. Good girl."
Her legs tighten and she sits down staring at her cases. Hotchs scowl comes back as he's walking up the stairs.
Her phone buzzes. Spencer texted," We are profilers that's what we do."
Hotch texts," Is something wrong ?"
Alice texts Spencer," Feels wrong to do."
Alice texts Hotch," Yeah I am just tired. Noticed your rings off again."
Hotch texts," Of course you did. Still dreaming of me? Ever get that man to fulfill your needs?"
She blushes looking up to see his blinds closed. She goes back to when he said good morning. His eyes down to his black suit. Black was definitely the color that mad his hazel eyes pop. She thinks those hands they would look nice around her neck. She shakes her head and places her leg over the other.
Hotch texts," Hot and bothered ?"
She texts ," you wish."
Hotch says," If we were talking about wishing. I wish I had you up here bent over my lap."
Alice texts," Oo. Mr by the book."
Hotch texts," Stop day dreaming and get back to work."
Alice texts," Just so you know I have some very nice red underwear on. Work with that on your mind."
Hotch texts," You are a tease. You got a date tonight with that dude ?"
Alice laughs checking the clock 7:40. She greets Penelope and JJ," Good morning loves."
Penelope says," Hows Colin?"
JJ says," Colin?"
Alice blushes and says," Guy i met at the club and we are going on our 4th date tonight."
JJ smiles grabbing coffee to take to her office. Penelope grabs a cup walking into her room full of her computers.
Derek walks in and says," you are always so early."
Alice says," Work early party late." Morgan laughs and says," Better than Reid or Hotch all work no play."
Morgan says," You really going another date with that Colin dude?"
Alice rolls her eyes and says," If I have a dollar for everytime I heard that I wouldn't have to work here. What's wrong with him?"
Reid comes in and says," Hes a dick. Seems like he would turn in to a abusive asshole."
Morgan laughs and says," See I was going to say that but in nicer way."
Reid smirks and says," I tell the truth." The clock turns to 8 and Hotch says," you three got something better to then gossip at work."
Morgan laughs and says," Ok chill bossman."
Hotch says," Walker, Reid come up here ."
Reid grabs my hand and says," Come on."
Alice let's herself be dragged into the office. Hotch says," I just wanted to thank you guys for everything you have done for the group. We appreciate you."
Reid says," Thank you sir." Alice says," Thank you Aaron I mean Hotch."
Reid laughs as he sent out of the room.
Hotch laughs and says," Almost two months and you still say my name. You could get in trouble for that agent."
Alice remarks back," You could get in trouble for half the things you message me."
Hotch closes the space between them and says," And what about you? Telling me you have nice red panties. Enough to drive any man crazy ?"
Alice smiles and says," Oh so I drive you crazy ?"
Hotch laughs and says," you are a pain the ass Agent."
She smiles and says," Sure I am. Mr we can't do anything unless it's by the book."
He says," And its Hotch for the last time."
Alice says," Or Sir ?" She gets out the office going back to her desk. Reid laughs at her and says," You really should just call him Hotch."
Alice says," I forget spence."
Spencer laughs and starts working on some paper work. The clock hits 12 o clock. Alice looks up and rolls her eyes.
She gets back to work piling herself with alot of paperwork. She looks back up to see JJ going into Hotchs office.
I look at Reid and say," Fuck we probably have case."
Reid says," You should be happy you don't got to go out with that dude ."
Alice laughs and says," I am not happy. I really wanted to give him a chance. Now we are heading the station I left because of my abusive ex. "
Reid says," Are you sure you are going to be able to come?"
Alice grimaces and says," I just feel so stupid that I let him run me out the job."
Reid says," 1 and 4 women experience violence in a relationship. Most women describe it as very impossible to leave and suffocating. I am proud of you for leaving."
She smiled and says," Thank you so much Dr. Reid."
Reid hugs her and says," I worry about you. Especially since I see so many signs in Colin. Let me guess he was mad that you canceled maybe not openingly mad but you could tell hes was annoyed."
Alice looks down. Hotch walks in and says," The Jets ready ."
She grabs Reids hand noticing the uncomfortable look Hotch let show.
They all walk to the jet. Reid grabs Alice making her sit by him and Morgan. The 5 hour ride went by fast with Alice and Reid talking the entire time.
We laid in sunny Arizona. Alice sighs as she's walking out the jet. Morgan says," I got Alice and Reid let's go." Hotch grabs the other car with JJ.
Morgan drives to the station as Alice talks to him and Reid about her abusive cop ex. Morgan frowns and says," I don't know about this case are you sure you are ok going in there Alice?"
Reid says," We could drop you at the hotel."
Alice sighs and says," I have to face him. It's all good. I am with you guys I am safe."
Morgan's jaw clinches and says," he won't touch you or ill kill him."
Reid says," Men that hit women are cowards."
We stop into the parking lot as her anxiety started to hike. Reid notices and says," Are you sure you are ok?"
Alice grabs his hand and says," I am fine thank you doctor." They all walk up to Hotch laughing. Hotch nods at them motioning everyone inside the police station. Alice is immediately greeted by her ex. He wraps his arms around her making her stomach upset. Aaron and Morgan pull Alice back. Morgan says," SSA Morgan and Hotch And Reid ." Jj comes out of the conference room and says,' Agents over here. I set up in the conference room."
Hotch pulls Alice's arm as we all walk up the room. Morgan and Reid walk in side by side. Hotch pull Alice aside fiercely looking at her. Alice says," Hotch what's up?"
Hotch raises an eyebrow and says," Do you know that officer?"
Alice nods and says," He worked here when I worked here yes."
Hotch scowls at her and says," I mean personally."
Alice says," He's an ex boyfriend. "
Hotch says," get in the conference room."
She smirks and says," Yes Sir."
They both go into the conference room.
Her ex knocks on the door after 40 mins as we all like out to go give the profile. Her ex standing behind her the only time causing shivers down her spine. Morgan grabs her hand as she speaks and whispers," I won't let him hurt you I promise." Hotch looking pissed the entire time as her ex practically follows her around the building. Her ex goes to grab her while she's walking out the building with Hotch. Morgan and Reid went to the crime scene as Gideon and JJ work in the conference room. Her ex says," I really want to talk to you."
Alice pull her hand back and confidently says," We have a case and 3 dead bodies." Hotch angrily says," I suggest you stop halting the investigation. And keep your hands to yourself ."
He backs off and Alice says," Thank Hotch I am sorry about the way hes acting."
Hotch looks Alice up admiring her black tight slacks and her unbuttoned white blouse. Alice smiles noticing his eyes. They both hop in to the suv sitting Hotch in the driver's seat. Hotch jaw clenched as he's driving us to the latest sight. The drive is agonizing 15 mins of silence.
