Chapter 7

Alice says," Its fine . Showers there if you need it ."
Hotch walks to the living room grabbing his bag of clothes. Alice goes to the mirror brushing her hair applying the lip balm. Hotch moves beside her and starts getting undressed. She looks at his stomach biting her lip grabbing her toothbrush and tooth paste brushing her teeth. He pulls off his shirt making Alice's eyes wonder to his fit chest. Hotchs suits definitely did hit his body. Hotch smugly says," see something you like?"
Her eyes stop at his scars eyebrow raising again . He growls," its a sensitive subject. "
Alice walks out of the bathroom letting him get into it while she gets dressed. He walks out in a grey shirt and black slacks.  His hair slicked like it usually is and his Cologne filling the room. Alice says," Do you want coffee?"
Aaron says," yeah black please. I need all the help I can get I got Jack today."
Alice says," I have to take Reid to the shooting range. So wish me luck."
Hotch says," Good luck I have tried so hard."
Alice says," it will be fine," handing him the coffee," I am not a dick for no reason so he will probably learn from me easier."
Hotch grabs her waist and says," oh I am dick ? You are the one who doesn't focus on the job."
She moans at the feel of him against her and drinks her coffee. He whispers," no wonder those boys at the office want you so bad. If only they knew how good you felt."
Alice laughs pulling away from him. Alice says," Didn't you say we have to stop?"
Hotch pokes his lip out and says," Yeah we probably should so make it easy on me wear something modest to work."
Alice smiles widely and says," Whats the fun in that ?"
Hotch laughs and says," your gonna be the death of me."
Alice finishes her coffee and says," Ehh it's life. Guess you'll have to get used it."
He looks at her and says," I got to go.  I'll come tonight and pick up my stuff." He walks out the door briskly.
Alice grabs a bagel popping it into the toaster. Reid texts," we are going soon ?"
Alice says," yes come to my aparentment."
Reid texts," on my way ."
She start eating the bagel watching something on tv. Her phone bings. Hotch texts," I can't stop thinking about how you feel."
Alice texts," You need to be professional boss man. "
Hotch texts," being the boss sucks ."
Alice texts," hmm. Well I did too."
Hotch texts back," you are going to make this really hard for me huh?"
Alice texts back," yeah."
Hotch texts back," your a brat. Heard from that ex lately? Morgan said something about Colin hanging out side your house."
Alice sighs and says," not lately but it's not over I am sure. Colin has been but hes harmless."
Hotch texts back," I think you should move. Because as of right now both of the people stalking you know where you live."
Alice texts," I just moved here."
Hotch texts," talk to Colin or I will. I will not have him hanging around your apartment.  It's a safety issue."
Alice texts," its a jealously issue. You know I can technically date who I want. Maybe I'll bring him to your house when Hayley is hosting again. "
She hears a knock the door. Colin on the other side says," I wanted to give you these." He hands her flowers . Alice says," Colin its a little creepy that you have been hanging out around my aparentment complex. Thank you for the flowers."
Colin frowns and says," its just I really like you. I know you are seeing that Morgan dude."
Alice says," Colin please I just need some space. Leave Morgan out of it."
Colin says," when he breaks your heart just know I'll be there waiting."
She says," bye Colin." Colin walks away from the apartment running in to Reid. Reid pushes past and pushes Alice inside. Reid says," How come you never told me hes been doing this ?"
He takes the flowers out of her hands and throws them in the trash. Alice yells," Spence those were nice."
Spencer shouts," are you crazy? accepting gifts from him sends the wrong message."
Alice looks at Spencer enraged and says," dont call me crazy first of all. I was just trying to do the bare minimum to get him out of here. "
Spencer walks through the house with his hand in his hair noticing a duffle bag full of clothes. Alice looks shocked as Reid points to the back. He says," did you let him stay in the same house as you ?"
Alice says," Spencer stop. I am telling you this once. I didn't let him stay here . Why are you freaking out ?"
Reid says," its scary how fast these men get attracted to you. You are putting yourself in danger alot lately."
Alice says," I am just having fun. He's not going to hurt me."
Reid angrily says," is this his stuff ?"
Alice shouts," no Reid its not and its none of your business. "
Reid says," your just my best friend."
Alice hugs in the inraged Spencer and says," Spence I love you. If you will make you feel any better I don't think he'll be coming again because he thinks Morgan and I are dating."
Reids eyebrows raise and he says," that's the second one who's said that."
Alice says," Alex thinks that I am just some bitch who goes for built guys because I have a bestfriend in Phoenix who was built like Morgan.  Colin was overly jealous of Morgan and I relationship. I think Morgan made him feel intimidated."
Reid says," because he's a coward."
Alice says,"  I am ok Reid don't worry about me. Let's go shooting.  It's already like 1."
Reid grabs her waist and says," I am sorry."
Alice says," its ok . You are just looking after me."
She reaches in kissing his cheek. She grabs her gun and says," lets go baby."
His cheeks flush red and says," coming.  Remember to lock your door."
Alice takes him to the range for four hours Reid still having trouble aiming. She grabs his waist and says," relax listen to my voice. You got this pick a spot and aim."
He gulps and takes the shot hitting the papers arm. She smiles and says," good boy."
He breaths in and says," I am getting kind of hungry you mind if we call it a day?"
Alice says," not at all its already 6."
Reid says," Do you have plans for dinner?"
Alice shakes her head no and says," we could go get a bite at the steak house around the corner. "
They head out grabbing the dinner. Reid says," I am so glad you joined."
Alice smiles eating the food. She says," me too I don't know what I would do with out you guys."
Reid remarks," well except hotch your life probably would be way easier without him."
Alice says," I feel like he doesn't really value me . Like he sees me as a little girl."
Reid says," hes like that with me too. I just am more complying to his orders. I think he's got trust issues with women."
She laughs and says," Yeah he does. I am surprised El puts up with it. I am so glad she's coming back."
Reid says,"  I am a little worried. When she left she seemed really worn down from the job."
Alice says," I am so glad to see her again. She was my best wing women ever."
Reid says," you wouldn't need a wing women If you would pick a nice guy."
Alice laughs,"  I would eat a nice guy up."
Reid smirks and says," there's that defensive nature."
Alice's phone buzzes. Hotch texts," I'll be heading to your place in a little for my stuff."
Alice hides the phone texting," ok out to dinner with Reid ."
Reid pays the bill and says," let me drive you home."
Alice says," you didn't have to pay for dinner lover boy."
She grabs him kissing his cheek snapping a picture.  Reid says," send that to me . We look good."
Alice looks at him up and down and say," you always look good . It takes you no effort at all."
They walk to the car hand and hand. They get in to the car turning on the radio for the 18 min drive to her apartment complex. Reid says," Do you need to to walk you up?"
Alice says," I got it . Go get some sleep . We got to start training for more of our physical. We got to hit the gym hard."
Reid says,"  I know don't remind me. If we could even get time too."
She blows him a kiss and says," love you Reid." She walks up the stairs watching his car pull off right when she unlocked the door. Awh he wanted to make sure she was safe she thought.
She hears a knock right after her looking at the clock seeing its 9. She opens the door to see Hotch. Hotch says," who's flowers? Reid buy you some for your date."
Alice restorts," We are friends.  Colin gave me those. Reid got all upset and threw them in the trash then accused me of letting him stay her because of your bags."
Hotch looks into her eyes," hes worried about you. He thinks he can protect and save everyone.  It's nice to see the job hasn't jaded him in the way it has the rest of us. "
Alice says," that's why I love him and Garcia. I was so taken back when he freaked out on me."
Hotch head tilts and he says," the way his body language changes I think he likes you either that or he feels responsible for you. "
Alice says," oh hell get over it ."
Hotch pushes a strand out of her face and says," you push good people away because of your dad. Stop it . You have no idea the effect you have over people." He closes the gap and says," I find myself pulled towards you. I made up with Hayley . I know you don't think that's good but I did. I need to try for jack."
