Chapter 7

Alice watching TV eating some pretzels sees Reid come up the stairs in a red t shirt and black slacks. She looks up and down at him. She opens the door hugging him . He spins her around.  She laughs and says," you look amazing. "
He smiles a cute shy smile. He says," So do you. I heard JJ is wearing red too," he blushes . Alice squeals and says," You like JJ?!"
He hides his face and says," yeah. "
Alice says," That's so sweet. I think she secretly likes you too."
He jokes," That could never happen. "
Alice hits his chest says," It totally could. You are adorable."
Reid says," adorable that's what girls like. Is that what you look for?"
Alice taken back says," Spence you know your hot. Even the nerd look works for you ."
Reid says," Statically speaking  girls go for these guys after highschool because while they are in highschool they are invisible to every girl in the school."
Alice grabs his arm and takes him to the mirror.  She says," you have the cutest curly hair why do you slick it back?"
She grabs a brush and starts brushing the curlys out. Reid says," You are literally being my mom right now."
Alice says," Where is your mom love?"
He looks down as she puts the brush away. He says," Shes in a mental hospital in Nevada. She got diagnosed with schizophrenia."
Alice hugs him tightly and says," I am sorry  spence. I know its really hard on the patient and the patients family."
They both sit down on the couch talking . He says," What about your parents ? How come you didn't visit them when we were in Arizona?"
Alice sighs and says," My mom and dad are working on a relationship that's really toxic. Everytime I see them I go back to that place as a kid when I was hiding in my room because of all the noise."
Spencer says," That explains the Colin and Alex are your choices for a mate. I am so sorry for everything you had to see when you were growing up."
Alice shrugs and says," I got better from it. I picked myself up and I made it to the FBI. "
Reid says," I got to work on my shooting because I can't pass the physical. "
Alice says," I'll take you shooting . Did you hear Elles coming back ?"
Reid says," That's so exciting. "
Alice says," shes literally my other half. I worry about her though she's been through alot . Now she's coming back."
Reid says," shes resilient."
Alice says," How come Gideon gets out of these weird boss dinner nights ?"
Reid says," He doesn't.  He just doesn't show up for them . He's also been on the team for so long. He likes to go to his cabin and chill anytime we have a free day or days."
Alice says," if I am being honest I like him as the boss more than Hotch."
Reid says," I can't believe you too are still not getting along."
Alice says," Hes an asshole who doesn't trust women."
Reid says," Hes just cold. "
Morgan knocks still coming in with JJ, Penny. We all grab each other taking group pictures. JJ says," can you imagine what Hotch is gonna say?"
Alice says," its 7:30 we should probably go. I swear if anyone leaves me alone with that man. He wouldn't even let me bring someone."
Reid says," No one wanted you to bring Colin. "
JJ looks at Spencer and says," Your hair looks nice spence."
He blushes and says," Thank you Alice did it for me."
Alice says," come on let's start going . I need to stop to get some shots on the way."
Morgan says," you are not going to get drunk at hotchs house. "
Alice says," watch me I am over the age
And I want shots ."
Reid says," dont you want to make a good impression . Your drunk self is a little much."
They all get in to the car blasting a popular station.
Alice kisses Jennifer's cheek and snaps a picture.  Jj blushes and says," you got to turn left here Morgan."
Alice says," boo no alcohol for me."
Penny says," lets take a picture girls ."
Alice kisses penny's cheek and JJ kisses the other side.
The picture snaps as we pull up to a cute  house on a suburban street.  We all pile out infront of Hotchs house. Alice rolls her eyes and says," I have a call I'll be in a minute. "
The group.piles into the house as Alice answers the phone . She says," Hi mom . Yes I was in Arizona."
Hotch comes out and says," Alice are you ok?"
Alice hangs up the phone and says," yes sir I was just taking to my mom.  She was upset I didn't see her when I was in Arizona."
Hotch frowns and says," you know what happened has to stay between us. "
Alice says," I get it Aaron. You have a wife and kid. Like I said it was average."
Hotch chuckled and says," nothing average about it." He threatens," dont make me keep you after work Monday and choke you slut."
Alice laughs and says," no no sir . Your little wife wouldn't like that."
Hotchs eyes rake up her body in the tight sun dress. She pats his chest and walks past him swaying her hips. Hayley greets her inside.  She says," I am Hotchs wife Hayley."
Alice smiles and says," SSA Walker. Call me Alice. "
Hayley and Her spend a good 40 mins chating . She notices Hotch uncomfortable and says," Whats for dinner ?"
Hayley smiles and says," Breaded steaks."
Alice says," yummy. spence please sit by me."
Reid grabs her chair out for her. They spend the night 3 hours eating dinner and chatting.  Alice notices the change in demeanor from Hayley it went from her smiling at her to her glaring at her. She gets up helping Hayley clean the plates as the rest of the team talks to Hotch.
Hayley says," thank you so much for helping me with the dishes."
Alice says," not a problem. Thank you for making us food."
Hayley says," do you like working for the FBI?"
Alice says," I do just takes alot of my personal life."
Hayley vents," Its hard for me . I miss Aaron . He misses things with Jack."
Alice fills the dish washer and says," he seems to be really into the job. That's why I have been kind of waiting on things. My last fling ended because of the job . I wouldn't change a thing . I really love it ."
Hayley says," oh. Yeah i notice he's cold as hell at the office. "
Alice says," he's a pain in the ass."
Hotch comes into kitchen and says," And you aren't agent Walker?"
Alice says," see what I mean . I should probably get going. Thank you both again. "
Morgan says," Alice you riding with me ?"
JJ says," Penny and I too. "
Reid says," I am coming too."
We all pile in to Morgan's saying goodbye.
Alice's phone bings. We dropped JJ and Penelope off first.
Spencer and Morgan walk me up to the aparentment making sure I get inside . I Hug them both goodbye. It was 11 at this point . She opens the message from Hotch. He texts," you alright agent ?"
Alice says," Hotch I am fine. "
He texts back," I think Hayley really likes you." Alice thinks great just was I need a friend from the guy who's my boss who I slept with wife.
Alice texts," I didn't tell her anything." She hopes in the shower. Her mind wanders to how good Hotch looked. How good his mouth felt on her. Alice thinks he's got a wife who wants to be my friend.  She gets out changing into pj's.
She texts Hotch," shes nice even though she literally hates anything that takes your time."
Hotch texts," can I come over ?"
Alice freezes as her eyes scan that text message. She really thinks that's a terrible idea. She texts," do you think that's a bad idea?"
Hotch texts," Shes really just arguing with me . She wants me out of the house. "
Alice texts," well my couch is open. Shouldn't you text Gideon you guys are close. "
Hotch texts," its bonding time between boss and coworker. I would get a hotel but its late and I."
Alice texts," you can come here's the address ***************. This needs to be a civil friendship thing."
Hotch texts," Whatever Alice. On my way."
Alice is watching a show in the bedroom when the door bell rings. She opens the door to she a frustrated messy haired Hotch. Alice moves aside and says," let me get you some blankets and a pillow." He nods still groggy from being tired.
Alice grabs him the blankets and pillows when she realized how tired he was . She says," take the bed I'll sleep out here. "
He restorts," you know we are adults we could share a bed."
Alice agrees following him to the bedroom. He awkwardly gets in on the left side. She turns off the TV getting on the right side. Within ten mins both of them are fast asleep. Alice alarm goes off at 7. She wakes up going to move but sees that Hotchs arms were tight around her. She looks over to see his sleepy face and bed hair. She thinks he's so adorable like this. Face was fully relaxed.  He pushes in to her while sleeping . She feels him hard against her and fights a moan. He wakes up and says," Shit sorry."
