Damon and I laid in the middle of the road back in Mystic Falls for a check in. We tended to do that every so often, taunt Stefan if he was around, eat some people, cause trouble then disappear.
We heard a girl.
A voice that sounded way to familiar.
We looked at one another and I sat up. "Damon... its Katherine." I sparked with joy, after her being dead I couldn't wait to see her but I also wanted to kick her ass for everything she did to me the past 500 years.
We ran to the girl.
"Katherine, is that really you?" I asked with amazement.
"Um... no I'm, I'm Elena." She stammered looking behind her and taking a few steps back from us.
"Oh you just look..." He stopped and took a slight step forward, working his charm. "I'm sorry you just really remind me of someone. I'm Damon, and this lady behind me is Nerezza." He informed gesturing behind himself at me, I rose my hand and took a step back, letting him have his moments
"Not to be rude or anything Damon and... Nerezza? But it's kind of creepy that your out here in the middle of nowhere." She staggered. It amazed me how she was like a replica of Katherine, almost like she had a twin.
"Your one to talk." He joked. "Your out here all by yourself." He sounded mischievous.
"Its Mystic Falls, nothing nad ever happens here." She opened her arms, gesturing to the town. Damon looked back at me with the devils smile on his face and turned back to the girl.
"I got into a fight with my boyfriend." She lifted her phone and then flopped it back down to her side.
Humans annoyed me because of things like this. They over shared too much. Right about now I started to daydream about how it would feel to lunge at her jugular.
"About what? May I ask." He put his hands up defensively. He was probably as curious as I was about the girl, I just didnt really care any longer.
"Life... future, hes got it all mapped out." She sighed.
"You dont want it?"
"I dont know what I want." She looked away and shrugged.
"Well that's not true," He said in a cunning voice. "You want what everybody wants."
"What? Mysterious stranger who has all the answers." She smiled, Damon hummed with a smile I could see from behind him.
"Well let's just say I've been around a long time." He drew his attention to me then back to the girl. "I've learned a few things."
"So Damon, tell me. What is it that I want?"
"You want a love that consumes you. You want passion, and adventure, and even a little bit of danger." He stepped closer.
"So- what do you want?" She asked a few moments later. He sighed, thinking for an answer but was interrupted by a honk from a car driving down the road. "Thats my parents." She informed looking back.
"Damon, we gotta go." I instructed, he nodded and got closer to the girl.
"I want you to get everything your looking for, but right now I need you to forget that this happened. Cant have people knowing I'm in town yet." He compelled. "Goodnight Elena." He then grabbed me and ran off as the car pulled up to us.
When we stopped I started freaking out.
"Are we really staying?!" I asked frantically.
"Hush your voice. And yes, we will stay." I didn't argue with his response, I was ecstatic. We usually moved from place to place, so I was amazed when we got to stay, especially in this town.
I squealed and did that prancing thing you see short, skinny, blonde college girls do after exciting news.
