"What are you doing here."
"Oh come on, you really think I'd miss my little brothers first day of school?" He asked with a smile as he slowly strolled into Stefans room.
"Yeah I do. You hate small towns, theres nothing for you to do here."
"Well I've managed to keep myself busy."
"Why are you here now."
"Well we could ask you the same question. But I'm pretty sure that your response will have something to do with Elena. She took my breath away, Elena. Shes a dead ringer for Katherine. Is it working Stefan? Being around her, being in her world, does it make you feel alive?"
"She is not Katherine."
"Well let's hope not," I cut in finally. "We both know how that ended." I snarled stepping into the home, seeing Stefam was still the owner. "Tell us Stefan, when was the last time you had something stronger than a squirrel?"
"I know what you guys are doing Nerezza, it's not going to work." Stefan said backing away from us.
"No, come on." Damon pushed his shoulder. "Let's do it, together."
"Stop." Stefan mumbled.
"I saw a couple girls that looked pretty tasty. Or let's just go straight for the gold! Let's go for Elena!" Damon kept shoving him around.
"Stop it!" Stefan growled, finally pushing back Damon.
"Imagine what her blood taste like!" Damon yelled back, Stefan turned away from him panting. I saw his eyes turn and his teeth grow from the reflection off a window in front of him, I couldn't help but smile. "I can." Damon mumbled.
"Stop!" Stefan finally yelled, running at Damon and they went flying out the window. I laughed as I walked to the edge of the balcony, I looked over the edge to see Stefan on the ground groaning and Damon standing a few yards away from him, leaned up against the bushes. He was laughing as I jumped down next to him.
"Great thing that was. Loved the face," He put his hand up and imitated what Stefan looked like with a laugh that followed.
"Its all fun and games for you two. Wherever you guys go, people die."
"Well that's a given Stefan. You cant expect us to live off of bunnies and chipmunks can you? We prefer the hunt, the feed, and the kill. It is not our fault you go insane when you let the blood drive you hard enough." I said crossing my arms.
"I won't allow you guys to kill here."
"I take that as an invitation." Damon smiled.
"Damon please, after all these years cant we just give it a rest."
"He promised you an eternity of misery, hes just keeping his word Stef." I smiled.
He paused before saying anything, looking between me and Damon for a brief moment. "Just stay away from Elena." He begged.
Damon didnt answer, neither did I. Damon looked down at Stefans hand noticeably and asked, "Wheres your ring? The sun coming up in a few hours and without it you'll go... poof."
Stefan looked down at his hand and touched where his ring last was, then Damon stuck his hand out and Stefan took the ring and slipped it over his finger again. Then Damon hissed at Stefan and threw him hard across the yard and into their shed.
"Damon, don't you think that was a little harsh?" I snickered as we ran over to where Stefan laid. "You really think your stronger than us?" I crouched down to see his face better. "You lost that battle the moment you stopped feeding on people." I said caressing his cheek with the back of my hand. "I wouldn't try it again." I picked him up from the collar of his shirt and slammed him back on the cement.
