My blurry vision finally cleared and I the room I was in was extremely familiar.
Of course, it was Kais room.
I sat up and my head was spinning, my body blacked out and I flopped back onto the fluffy pillows, closing my eyes with a heavy groan.
"Morning m'lady." He said, I opened my eyes and looked at him with a small smile.
"Taking advantage of drunk girls now, huh Kai?"
"Well I hardly took advantage of you considering you wouldnt stop asking for me last night. Damon was getting so fed up with you over the phone, it was quite hilarious." He smirked and I sat up again, I softly wailed as my head kept spinning. "Take this," he handed me a few pills and water to help with my pain.
"I'm never drinking again. That was hell." I murmured, rubbing my forehead. Kai laughed at me and I punched his shoulder, hard.
"You arent supposed to be punching me, I'm helping you." He said sitting down next to me, he pulled my shoulder to lay down and I gave into his pressure. I laid face up on his lap, I stared into his eyes as he ran his fingers through me hair.
"Does everyone hate me now?" I asked suddenly.
"That was... very out of the blue." He noted and I sighed. "No, I dont think everyone hates you. I think that Kol is pretty upset because of whatever is going on between the three of us. I mean whatever is happening is all very confusing. I think that the girls are probably concerned about you, because of what I did. Damon is probably happy he doesnt have to deal with you at the moment but... I dont think any of them really hate you." He tried talking me down, I nodded and exhaled heavily.
"What happened last night? After I hit him."
"Well, I brought him outside and... had a few words with him." He smiled at the memory.
"Can you show me?"
"Its definitely something you can go without seeing, you'll do better without it." Now his expression was nervous and unsettled, like he didnt want me to know what they were talking about.
"Fine. But you did more than just... 'talking' right?"
"Yes. There were sticks and daggers and... coffins involved." He stammered and I sat up, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Did you dagger him?" I asked upset.
"I definitely tried."
"Malachai!" I reprimanded.
"What? It didnt work as much as I wanted it to!"
"Malachai, he could very easily kill you and at the moment I cant protect you."
"No offense Nerezza but you cant even protect yourself half the time."
"Hey, did you not see me punch a 1000 year old vampire yesterday? I broke my hand and didnt even cry! And I have the mental capacity of a 16 year old, the strength of a 16 year old and the attitude of a 16 year old."
"Yes but as a vampire? I'm sorry love but you can do shit, maybe I should keep you human." My face went blank as he laughed at his own joke. I didnt like his threat even if it was harmless, it was across the line.
"Just don't even think about that. That wont happen, not unless you guys find a cure and end up shoving it down my throat. But that's impossible."
He nodded and closed his eyes for a moment. "Your right, I'm sorry. I wont say something like that, we good now?"
"We were never not good, your joke was just not funny like you intended it to be." I said looking at his lips and slowly pulling myself closer to his face.
