She's the Drug and I'm the Addict - Chapter 9

Jason's POV

I woke up the next morning and got ready for school. Doing the usual brush your teeth, change, do your hair thing. I grabbed my phone backpack and keys. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed and apple and a bottle of water. No one else is up right now, so I was alone and it was quiet in the normally loud house. I have 2 older brothers who are twins and 1 younger brother, so there's not much time for peace and quiet in our house.

I looked at the clock and saw it was about 6:45, which is usually when I leave for school. I live about 20 minutes away, but I also have to go and pick up Roxanne every morning and take her home because she doesn't have her license. She failed it about 3 times, so she can't take it again, or rather, her dad thinks she's a crap driver (which is 110% true) and won't let her take the test again.

Sighing, I get to the garage and get into my baby, also known as my black matte Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe. My parents got it for me for my birthday, even though I didn't ask for anything. I get into my car and start to drive to Roxanne's house.

When I pull up to her mansion, I talk to the butler, James, who has to buzz me in. After having a short conversation with him, I pull up in front of the doors and see Roxanne walking outside "seductively" with her usual almost non-existent outfit. I don't know why Roxanne thinks swaying her flat ass will get me horny, cause nothing really does. Except Adelaide in cheer tryouts. Shaking my head to get rid of my thoughts, I turn to Roxanne and try to be polite and say good morning, but instead, I'm greeted with a scowl on her makeup caked face. "Why the hell were you late?" She hisses at me.

"What? It's 7:00 exactly, I wasn't late."

"Actually, it's 7:05, so you WERE late and I had to stand at the door waiting for you like an idiot!!" She shouts at me.

"Roxanne, I wasn't late, I was just talking to James, so calm your shit and let me drive to school." I tell her, an obvious edge to my voice.

She gives me a final glare before looking out the window.

Roxanne wasn't always this horrible or slutty. When we first started dating at the beginning of the summer, she was amazing. She actually wore clothes and she was nice to everyone she met. When school first started, she became a huge slut. I don't know what happened because for the last two weeks of summer I was in Greece with my family.

Roxanne has been trying to get me to sleep with her since school started 3 weeks ago. I've denied her every time because I have a secret that no one really knows about. I'm a virgin. I know how to please a girl, but I've never pleased anyone sexually and I've never been pleased sexually. I just want my first time to be with someone that I've been dating for a long time and someone who really knows me and loves me. I know Roxanne doesn't like me, I know I don't like her as much as I did before.

I think our breakup was inevitable even if Adelaide didn't come into the picture.

Adelaide.

I know I like her. That's for sure. But one of my best friends is her brother and I think he would kill me if he found out that I have feelings for his little sister.

But I can't really help it, she's beautiful with her almost completely pale skin and dark hair and blue eyes that are gorgeous as the sky. And yes, her body is amazing too, but that's not my favorite thing about her.

I love how much emotion is in her eyes. When she's angry, it's like a blue fire has been lit and is blazing away. When she's happy or laughing, they twinkle just likes the stars at night.

Oh God, I sound like such a girl, but I really like Adelaide and I don't even know why. I haven't known her for longer than a week and she already has me hooked.

She's the drug and I'm the addict.

Hey guys!!! I'm so sorry about the crappy and shorter than usual chapter, but my mom had surgery today so I've been really busy with that and with school. :/

But thoughts on the chapter? I know there isn't much dialogue or action in this one, but I feel like you needed to hear more from Jason's POV because he's such a complex character. I think that hearing him talk about Adelaide and Roxanne will give you a better idea of them.
