3 ♡ Tiring Rehearsals

Next chapter! I have so much homework tonight... but of course sitting down and writing wattpad fanfics are better :) The weather is so hot lately!

*LAY POV*

It's the day before the Seoul Music Awards. We are practising for almost 6 hours today. That's not even that bad, we've had 8 before. Honestly, I didn't even know we had the performance until last night when I asked the members if we had any schedule this week. They got annoyed by me but everyone should know that I'm quite forgetful.

I'm second to wake up, of course Xiumin hyung is up first... as normal. He wakes up one hour earlier than he needs to; why would you want to waste your precious sleeping time? But at least he takes care of himself well, he is also the neatest out of all of us.

"Good morning hyung," I say politely.

"Annyeong!" Xiumin energitically replies. "Manager hyung said he'll pick us up from the dorm at around 9, so be ready and wake the others up. We don't have that much time!"

I took out a small breakfast snack and rushed into everyone elses rooms to wake them up. Chanyeol and Baekhyun are sleeping on the same bed again... these two are so mushy sometimes. Don't you need some personal space?

*BAEKHYUN POV*

I'm awake to the sound of Lay's voice demanding us to wake up, well not really demanding since he always seems to sound polite. Chanyeol rolls out of bed and I follow him. I jokingly glare at Lay for waking me up from my nice sleep, but he just smiles with that deep dimple of his, shuts the door and walks away.

After all the members have gathered around eating breakfast, we all get ready for our rehearsal today. 

Our phones buzzed. Our manager is outside waiting for us as he sent us a message on KakaoTalk in the EXO group.

We get into our vans and leave off for rehearsal. As usual, everyone's either on their phones, annoying the hell out of each other or sleeping.

I don't even know how many times we've rehearsed Overdose, but I don't think I have enough brain cells to calculate how many.

We practise for a long and hard 6 hours with small breaks in between for food and water. Our faces were a bright red and we were all so sweaty that it looked like we had just poured a bucket of water on ourselves. Gross, I know. We got scolded at for forgetting some of our parts since it's been so long we've performed it and rehearsed it properly.

*CHEN POV*

Lay updates me and tells me about Kris and Luhan's weibo updates, and more. I miss them. I've been thinking about them alot since we talked about them the other day. 

Since the Seoul Music Awards are tomorrow, I remember being with them last year. We performed Let out the Beast, Growl and Wolf. We won the Daesang Award. That was actually unbelievable. Who knew some dorky, childish student could get to where he is now? Winning all these big awards with the best friends he'll ever make? And it hurts to say two of them are now gone.

I still remember going onto Youtube wanting to watch some of the videos from our fans and their reactions to our videos. I browsed around and saw all these hits of us reacting to SNSD's I Got a Boy. I even laughed myself, and there were all these comments about us looking at Baekhyun "suspiciously" since now Taeyeon noona and Baekkie hyung are dating.

I havent even been thinking of Kris and Luhan over the past few months, and I'm scared that I'll be thinking of them tomorrow while performing and not feel very well.

I hope we can perform well.

*SEHUN POV*

It's quite cold and chilly. Well, we're performing today. We're up for some awards as well. This time last year, we were very successful. I was proud of my hyungs and today I hope to wish the same.

Last year there was 12, and now there's 10. I'm hoping for the best today, and we're off to a 2 hour rehearsal before the big night.

After getting ready and eating breakfast, we head over to the rehearsal area and start rehearsing. We're all trying as hard as we can and we're all pulling through to reach perfection! I hope we dance on stage like we are now. Everyone will be expecting.

After eating a very quick lunch, everyone is now in a rushing and panic mode to get all their makeup and hair done. I seem to be out of the zone right now. I accidently spilt juice on Suho Hyung's costume but luckily there were spares and he was too nice to even get mad at me. 

*CHANYEOL POV*

I have a feeling Sehun is sick. He doens't look very well, but since we've already put all our makeup on, gotten our hair done and most of our costume on, it's WAY too late to turn back and reblock our dance and do all that other frustrating stuff.

People are everywhere. Fans are everywhere. The amount of noise. The amount of screeches. The amount of girls. The amount of cameras.

I'm used to it though. Every one of us are.

We step out onto the red carpet, and a man escorts us to the place where we'll be having a short little interview. SO. MANY. CAMERAS. I calmly enter and do my little peace sign as I wink to all the eager photographers.

An hour later of settling down, the actual award and performance ceremony has started. We are in the end half, so for now, we can just enjoy the show. 

After a long while which felt the opposite, it's our time to go on stage. Even though we have performed countless times, we get nervous every time. We our determined to not disappoint our fans who have supported us all the way. Even though, I have to admit, sometimes they're a bit too loud for my liking.

*SEHUN POV*

We get prepped up and we are moments to start to perform. My heart is beating fast. A flashback of last year's performance pops into my mind, and I remember hugging Luhan hyung and telling him good luck before we went on stage. Well, I can't do that anymore. I sigh quietly and the stage is within sight.

We all gather up backstage.

"We are one!" We all say in unison.

"EXO Sarangaja!" Suho says in a talking tone since if he screams any louder, it might be heard.

I hear a small scream and then a loud thump while walking to my position. I squint my eyes and hurriedly rush over to see who it is since I don't have much time left and this situation is not going to help us get over this performance any faster.

Who is it? Oh! It's Taeyeon noona. She has fallen in the hole from the stage! Wow, they didn't even fix it after TaeTiSeo used it after they finished performing? I jogged over to her and a crowd of people helped her up. 

"Are you okay?" I say in a slightly worried tone.

Tiffany and Seohyun reach down their hands to help her up, but it takes quite a while and the light are already starting to get dark which signals the beginning of our performance/

Thankfully, she just laughs it off and says thank you, even though some people had to carry her off to the other side of the backstage area.

I fix up my hair while I'm finally in the right position now.

Happy 26th Birthday to Sooyoung! And Amber's new solo album is going to be great. Can't wait and looking forward to it...
