I'm sorry about the slow updates, I went back to school last week, but now im online again, so i'll be posting more often <3

The phone rang through the apartment, the sound bouncing off the walls and reaching every corner of the small living unit.
Y/n popped her head out of the shower, hurriedly turning the water off and stumbling out of it, leaving wet footprints behind her like an almost invisible trail.
She found her phone on her bedside table, the vibrations coming from it making it slowly crawl towards the edge, almost falling off.
Y/n grabbed it, not caring to look at the caller ID as she wrapped her other arm around her body, trying to stop the shivering as she slowly made her way back to the bathroom. At least the heater was on there.

"Hello?"

"L/n-san!" the voice on the other side was immediately recognisable to Y/n as she smiled at the thought of the bright girl with the pink hair.

"Mina, what's up?" she asked, drying her hand and the back of her phone on a towel as she put the girl on speaker phone.

"Get ready! Girls' day out, we're going shopping" she exclaimed, not bothering to ask if Y/n had any other plans for the day. Not that she did.

"Oh- uhm, ok? Who's going?"

"It's me, you, Tsuyu and Uraraka. We're going swimsuit shopping" she replied, counting the people on her fingers, the happy note in her voice unfaltering.
Y/n kept quiet at the idea of shopping. She hadn't been out to do something as mundane as that in so long it was scary. In fact the last time she had been out buying new items of clothing was when Mitsuki had dragged both her and Bakugo around for a solid four hours to try and cheer her up after the incident with her mother.

"Sure, sounds like a plan" Y/n replied. It was actually a good idea, since she hadn't bought a swimming suit in a while and definitely needed some new ones, especially if they were going to be seen by other people.

"I'll come pick you up with the others and we can go, see you soon" Mina shut the call off, making Y/n smile as she resumed her shower. It was nice to know that they thought about her.

Shinso crouched down, gently petting the cat lying in the basket on the floor. He hadn't established a tight bond with the creature yet, the feline living in his house for just over a week by now.
He had gone to the shelter, the time he met Y/n there, for this particular reason. He had been so utterly in love with the cats in the café near UA that he had annoyed his parents so much about it that they eventually gave in and let him get a cat himself.
However, with the awkward conversation and the girl dragging him out without a warning, he ended up not choosing a companion.
Eventually he went back the next day once his mother had questioned the absence of the feline, bags of food, toys and litter sand already spread across the living room floor.

And now here he was, a week later, his new cat sleeping soundly in the basket in his room, the gentle snores coming from it filling the silence.
Shinso had pulled an all-nighter, mid-term exams in two days. He tiredly rubbed one of his eyes, gently pulling at the skin under his eyes with the side of his fist.
The clock on the wall struck 8 am in that moment, signalling the start of the new day for most people, but the end of the previous day for Shinso.
He dropped his body on his bed, his back hitting the soft sheets, the delicate smell of laundry detergent filling his nose.
It didn't take long for the remaining energy in his body, stimulated by the many cups of coffee he had drank to keep himself awake, to drain out of him, his limbs suddenly feeling a whole lot heavier.
Shinso's eyelids fluttered shut, his mind wandering to the near future. He wouldn't admit it to himself or anyone else, but he was looking forward to actually taking a week off with some of his closest friends.
