When the mother finally had time to approach her son there wasn't much left to say. She had spent the whole morning coddling him, talking to him, hugging him (he hadn't complained once). Wil was sure in any other circumstance he would feel betrayed at the thought of his mom leaving for months on end, with his younger sibling still stuck in her stomach, but... he didn't know. Perhaps he had already come to terms with it. That his mom was a princess of a whole country. Or maybe he already knew she was returning.
