They were walking for quite a while until they reached a bus stop. It didn't take long for the bus to arrive. Once it arrived, they boarded on and sat at the back. "Are you really not going to tell us" asked Hinata. Kuroo just gave a condescending smirk and shook his head. Hinata groaned, annoyed of the answer and snuggled in to Tsukishima's side.
Tsukishima was listening to music through his earphones and was looking outside the window. His peace disturbed as Hinata pulled out one of the buds. He looked down at Hinata in a questioning manner. Hinata just gave Tsukishima a small smile and cuddled even more into his side. Tsukishima also moved around for a bit so that they were in a position more comfortable. He took out the earphone closest to the window and gave it to Hinata so they could listen to music together till their stop.
On the other hand, Kuroo was watching Kenma play on his switch as his arm was wrapped around Kenma's waist. Kenma was leaning on Kuroo, while tilting his switch so that Kuroo could see what he was doing more clearer.
They stayed on the bus for another 30minutes until Kuroo announced that the next stop was when they were getting off. Kenma gave his switch to Kuroo for him to keep safe as they were in a more busier area. Kuroo placed the switch in to the side of his bag. Hinata fell asleep half way through the bus ride so he didn't hear the announcement, so Tsukishima shook his leg softly to get him to wake up. This was all in vain as Hinata was a heavy sleeper. This lead to Tsukishima grabbing his water bottle and pouting a bit in his hand and sprinkling it over Hinata's face. Hinata let out noises of discomfort feeling the water droplets scattered over his face. He slowly began to wake up and saw the culprit splashing water on his face, he immediately hit Tsukishima's arm as the others laughed at his misery. Tsukishima gave him a quick peck on his lips and a soft smile for only him to see. "You weren't waking up when i shook you, what else was i supposed to do shrimp?" Hinata let out an offended noise and retorted "oh so we using old nicknames now meanieshima? And you could have used other methods than getting my face all wet!" In the background, a hyena laugh could be heard from the one and only Kuroo as the lovers continued to bicker.
"What did you even wake me up for?" Hinata asked. "The next stop is ours, did you not hear?" Tsukishima replied in a teasing manner. "Oh because i definitely can hear shit in my sleep" Hinata said with complete sarcasm. "Wait chibi-chan can swear?" Kuroo asked bewildered. Now everyone was looking at him with confusion. "You didn't know and Kenma is your boyfriend?" Hinata asked. "No?? When did you start swearing? Did Tsukishima taint you?" This led everyone to become more confused at his reply. "Shoyo has always swore. He isn't innocent, you know? He is 16 after all." Tsukishima replied partly annoyed that he was mentioned. "You are always there when me and Shoyo face time. How did you not hear him swear?" Kenma asked bewildered that Kuroo never realised Shoyo swore. "...i don't know...but oh well our stop is here so we have to get off." Kuroo said noticing the bus coming to a stop. They all got up and left their confusion in the past as they exited the bus. "Can you tell us now?" Hinata asked as his curiosity itched him. "No can do Chibi-chan". Hinata once again groaned at his answer but let it be knowing his question would be soon answered.
As they were walking they had conversations ranging from topic to topic. Some being serious then changing to a more lighthearted topic to funny topics. It didn't take long until they reached there destination. It was a roller skating rink. You could tell the aesthetic they were aiming for was vintage retro. "Really, you couldn't tell us we were going to a roller skating rink?" Kenma asked. "A surprise is a surprise and aren't you excited?" Kuroo asked. "I am but you still could've just told us." Kenma said as they went up to the counter to get skates.
Once they were given everything they put them on and put all of there belongings in a locker to make sure they were safe. They headed on to the rink and tried to skate. Key word: tried. The only decent skaters were Kuroo and Hinata. The two immediately laughed as Kenma and Tsukishima fell because of the skates. They helped them up and told them that they would help their significant other skate. "How do you even know how to skate?" Tsukishima questioned. "My parents use to take me and Natsu to The park so we could skate. Its fun so yeah." Hinata responded. "Same but my mum took us to a roller skating rink instead" Kuroo replied. Kenma was clinging onto Kuroo for support while Tsukishima was holding onto Hinata's hand.
The two taught their significant other how to skate for an hour but then Kuroo suddenly asked Hinata for a race. Hinata had obviously said yes so they got into the starting positions while their partners moved to the side of the rink to watch the race. Once they heard Kenma say go, they started. Kuroo was in the lead at first but was easily over taken by Hinata. They had to do three laps in order to win. Hinata made the first lap quickly but Kuroo took over and made the second lap. On their third lap they were tying each other but Hinata over took Kuroo at the last second making him the winner. Hinata skated over to Tsukishima and gave him a peck and turned around to stick out his tongue at Kuroo. Kuroo mirrored Hinata sticking his tongue out as well. The two laughed at their immaturity.
Another hour had passed and they all were having fun but they left the rink to get home so they didn't arrive late. Kuroo and Kenma had went a different path as they had to go back to tokyo. Tsukishima and Hinata agreed to go to a off-licence to grab some snacks before heading home. However, what they didn't know was that they were spotted by the chaotic idiot duo.
Tanaka and Nishinoya were hanging out and as they were walking they saw Tsukishima and Hinata eating on the side of the pavement and talking to each other happily. As they were taking photos of them to show the rest of the team they saw Tsukishima lean down to give Hinata a peck. They were shocked and forgot to take pictures of the moment from the unexpectedness. They immediately walked away and hid in a nearby store in one of the aisles as they immediately created a new group chat without Tsukishima and Hinata.
