"They might be scared of us because we're cultivators" Wei Wuxian playfully started.
I look at him, "?"
He smirked, "i think i got it!"
I looked around seeing the group of Lan Zhan.
I look back at him again, "?"
Its not even fifteen minutes but why are they here?
He smirked again.
"It's really quite weird for a lion to appear at the middle of a bamboo forest, high level cultivator's may have released the lion there"
He's kind of right, releasing a lion in the middle of bamboo forest is kind of nonsense. Bushe village is a silent village for more than 60-80 years now,

After that Wei Wuxian quarreled with him. I approached Wangji, "hey, why came back so early?"

"ok then, Is there something you founded out strange?" I asked him.
He looked at me and nodded, "We better go back now so i could explain to brother", i nodded to him back.
The way he looked, his eyes are so raging... I expect its really useful.
We got back, i approached Huan-gege while he only smiled faintly to me.
"I'm convinced that what Lan Zhan and.." i speaked quietly to gege.
"Mr Wei gathered a lot too, he told me while you and Wangji were speaking to each other. But the conclusions he said he would rather to speak it to all"
He mentioned them to speak and Wei Wuxian spoked first, " Zewu-Jun, as I told you I'm not literally sure but i guess a group of cultivators unleashed or either guided the lion there at the bamboo forest. There are many conclusions in my mind to why did they did it. I won't be able to confirm it all without any clues"
"And the conclusions your we're thinking are?"
"Its either a good or bad thing but First they must be protecting or hiding something somewhere there, second they want to kill everyone in this Village, third if the lion has really no connections with the cultivators maybe the lion is finding something here" what he's said might be right, but without clues they are still useless.
I looked at the reaction of Xichen-ge, he just nodded slowly at his claim.
"Wangji may i know yours too?" Gege mentioned Lan Zhan.
"I noticed there are 6 stone sculptures surrounding some parts of the bamboo forest. There are no records of the lion killing outside the bamboo forest, If I'm right these stones are preventing the lion from coming out the forest" Lan Zhan spoked his mind so diligent, i also noticed them while investigating.
"How about you Childe Jiang?" Gege asked. My attention turned into him, he looks more upright not like Wuxian...
"Actually, when I looked at the stone sculptures first. I noticed dried dark red paints which I believed, blood. I've seen the stone is absorbing it slowly, little by little i thought it was just hallucinations of mine but not. I was about to tell them about it but when i came back its completely gone, no trace. This information might be useful."
As the heir of Jiang Sect he has no reason to lie...
"I suppose you have too?" Gege Zichen turned to me. With all of their conclusions something popped into my mind.
I spoke seriously, " someone must really have keeping the lion purposely, the blood if it gets absorbed by the stone statue, the person behind all of these might appear and put blood to it again. Its nothing much but i suppose we should stay first, wait and capture that person"
Gege looked at me and smiled, "very good mei mei" he smiled happily to me.
Gege agreed to my plan and by group we stayed on some bamboo houses near the stones or something we could hide to so that we could sneak a peak on the persons face or even capture it.
Time was ticking, its been haft an hour. We were hiding in a small bamboo house near the stone statue until the bamboo danced so fiercely mentioning someone must have walked through them.
A girl who is dressed in green and white hanfu is seen while she covers her face with a silk, her hair was styled in a pigtail while some bangs hang around her face, in her right hand she holds a sword, she was wearing a straw hat on his head. As the wind tousles her long hair while she jumps like a feather above the bamboos it made her look like a fairy of the bamboo forest.
who is she?
She took a dagger and sliced the middle of her hand, making blood flow to the stone sculpture. it was a lot of blood that in the point i know that she'll pass out in any moment but that moment didn't happen.
"gege" i softly said to him while still looking at the girl.
He didn't speak back and we were so shocked when she removed her silk mask and faced us with a smirk in the face literally saying that she knows we were here hiding in the first place. She was very pretty.

She spoke, "disciples and students from GusuLan Sect, very well" she chuckled.
Xichen-gege didn't waste a time and got out from where we were hiding. We all were trailed on his back.
"May i know who is this lady?" gege asked with his monotone voice
"Mu Da'xia of QinMu Mountain"she introduced herself and saluted to gege then held a green jade pendant that has the QinMu seal on it.
QinMu Mountain― where the infamous assassin's resides, were also know by the name Taoist Assassin's.
