Part 14 Trouble

Lan Xiaolian's POV

I heard from gege Xichen that Lady Da'xia knew uncle and father, and they were classmates back then. Maybe she knew a lot about my mother then... Should i ask or not? Should i wait for father to talk about my mother? But when will the day come?...

I was about to go to lady mu Da'xia's room to give her her dinner when i heard loud noises in a dorm i was about to pass.

"Excuse me for entering but your dorm has been causing some loud noises--- huh?"

Liquors on the table while i saw lady Da'xia, Nie Huaisang, Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian sitting on the chairs, each holding a white cup.

"What.." i mumbled unbelievably. I gasped at the situation, I can't believe they are drinking liquor inside cloud Recesses.

Lady Da'xia stood up and started to spoke, "ahh Xiaolian!" She smiled brightly to me.

"As you see uhmm" she spoked again.

"Forgive me for my rudeness but drinking is forbidden in Cloud Recesses"

Then She told me they were just chatting and talking about they parents, "if you could let this pass i promise you i would tell you anything you wish to know"

I thought about her offer, "as much I want to know about someone but rules are rules still" i said quietly.

"Rules are made to be broken, don't worry. If these words were heard by the elders I'll take the punishment so i hope you wouldn't also tell others about what happened tonight in exchange for information about that someone you want to know" she bargained again to me.

" It is true lady Da'xia Rules are made to be broken but Rules are also made to maintain peace and harmony. You could drink whenever you want but those 3 there are still not in the age. Im afraid i would refuse your offer"
I looked at those 3 who is quiet listening to our conversation

"Chill off, i understand" she chuckled, "your just like your father so strict" she mumbled but I heard it.

I respect Lady Da'xia but who wouldn't be strict in this situation.

"I hope the guest disciples would go to their assigned dorms within a minute. I want to remain the peace while the clan leaders gone, I'll let this off but if there is a next time, i wouldn't let this thing off again" i spoke firmly and made sure for the 3 to hear it .

Lady Mu Da'xia signed and spoke "See you tomorrow boyss! " Before exiting the dorm while i waited for the others to follow.

I called for Nie Huaisang, "can you give this to lady Da'xia i still have non finished matter here, Thank You" i looked at him while he just took the dinner without looking into my eyes.

And now Wei Wuxian is left alone.

"Ah hehehe" he awkwardly laughed.

I faced him and approached the table, getting all of the liquors.

"Can't you just leave one-"

"Shut up" i cut him.

Then he acted like he was zipping his mouth using his hands.

" If they knew i let this one slide they would punish me too so i hope you cooperate if you don't want to be punished as well as the others"

I looked at him lastly before going to the rooms door.

I was planning to exit but a hand held my arms.

"I apologize, and thank you also" he spoke quietly.

I didn't spoke back to him and just proceeded.

... morning ...

The day begun and I heard from the elders that Lady Mu Da'xia would become our substitute guest teacher for now. I do think its a bit bad idea since what happened last night but i hope she won't di anything that would break our clan rules again.

The others where extremely happy hearing this, just imagine someone who is near being immortal cultivator being your teacher... Looking at the good side, Its such a great experience.

We sat down, female on the left while male on the right. I looked at Wangji who's sitting to my right.

"Are you alright?" I asked him.

He just nodded. Ok.

"Greetings to the disciples," Lady Mu Da'xia started while clasping her hands together, she's in the front and all attention was on her.

She continued to speak and we just listened to her.

Basically her aim to teach us are the techniques in fighting, stance, and etc.

"Firstly before we proceed teaching you some of my techniques, pair into 2 and duel each other, I'll be grading you guys first" Lady Mu Da'xia instructed us.

A girl approached me and introduced herself as Mianmian and saluted herself.

I do see her sometimes after our class, she wants to approach me but she doesn't continue it.

"Lan Xiaolian" i introduced myself to her then saluted back

"I know" and she smiled brightly and joyful.

After minutes of getting to know each other we started to fight each other while Lady Mu Da'xia wa standing in front with her eyes directly looking at us all while we fight our partners.

I don't know but suddenly its so bright. Its really nice being with her, she also has a talent for swords but ot can be improved if she studies more how to control her balance and grip, she's a bit messy.

"Ok kids! Stop now!" She clapped her hands.

I looked around finding Wangji and Wei Wuxian still dueling, one has smile on his face while the other one seems fumed. The clash of their swords were heavy.
