Catherine's point of view

(Umedited because its 3am)

Me, Josh, and Kelsey stood backstage, watching and listening to the boys perform. Kelsey, being their biggest fangirl ever, knew every word to every song and felt the need to sing along to the whole thing and me and Josh sat there laughing.

"They're actually pretty good." Josh said and I nodded. "Not my style of music much, but they're talented."

"I listen to some songs, the slow ones mostly." I said and he nodded. "They're meaningful, and I dunno, I just like them."

"The song they're playing right now is pretty cool." He said and I nodded. Kelsey squealed and grabbed Josh's hand, pulling him up and forcing him to dance.

"How did we end up talking in the first place!" She yelled and Josh laughed. I smiled and decided to join in on their crazy dancing. She yelled the lyrics and we just sang along to the chorus since that was all we really learned.

We all laughed when the song was over and soon she started jumping up and down. "Oh my god American Idiot, Michael sounds like fucking jesus in this song. Oh my god," she yelled as the chords to the sing started playing.

"Finally! A song I know!" I said and Josh nodded. We jumped around and sang along, doing weird ass dances and jumping off of the props back here and shit.

"Don't wanna be an American idiot!" I yelled as I leaned back and pretended to play guitar. Josh smiled at me amused and pretended to do the drums while Kelsey just yelled along to the song.

We'd make a wonderful band of hooligans.

"I'm tired," I said after the song ended. Kelsey was still energetic as fuck and I chuckled. "Oh wait, I know this song. Er uh isn't it, oh dammit what was the name of it?" I said and I tapped my forehead. "Everything I don't say?"

"Didn't," Kelsey corrected me and Josh laughed. I stuck my tongue out at him and he did the same. We're so mature.

I tapped my foot to the drum and nodded my head. Me and Kelsey sang along with the 'oh's amd I smiled. Josh joined in at the end and I chuckled as he struggled to keep up.

"I wish I could have made you stay, and I'm the only one to blame," I sang along and threw my arms over Josh and Kelsey. Me and Kelsey sang along, not screaming, singing, and Josh just nodded his head.

You really can't headbang to this song...

"Oh my god Michael, baby, holy shit. I fucking love you oh my god, shh! He's singing!" Kelsey said when it was his turn to sing and I laughed along with Josh. She knew the band and yet she still acts like they don't know she exists.

"I liked that song," Josh said and I nodded. "Oh! This is What I Like About You by The Romantics! I love this song!" He said and I nodded.

"Hey!" We all yelled and started jumping around again. I'm going to be seventy pounds lighter by the time we leave, just you watch.

"Yeah what I like about you," Josh sang and we listened to him. "You really know how to dance, ooh, when you go up down jump around, think about true romance, yeah!" He sang, staring at me. I blushed and jumped up and down.

"Hey!" I shouted at a random crew member and he laughed. He waved and them got back to work as I went back to my friends.

When the song ended, we calmed down and I laid my head on Josh's shoulder. He chuckled and I smiled as I knew what song was on. "Oh no," I said and Kelsey jumped up and down.

"She's a good girl, she's daddy's favorite!" Josh smirked, Kelsey yelled, and my mood dropped. My mind raced back to my dad and I sighed.

I plastered a fake smile on and nodded my head to the song while I jumped up and down with Kelsey. "She can speak french, I think she's fluent," Kelsey yelled and then stopped. "Oh,"
