Cobra Kai : Hawk Love Story

Chapter 4

         I was about to leave to go to the LaRusso's house. I was wearing dark skinny jeans, and light gray sweater, gray boots. I curled my hair a little and then put some mascara on. I grab my phone and go to my car and drive to the house. I get to their house and get out of my car. Their house was huge, it was amazing. I walked up to the front door and just before I rang the door bell Sam opened the door. She hugs me.

        "I missed you so much. You look amazing." She says. She pulls away from the hug and pulls me inside. The house smelt amazing.

      "Is that lasagna I smell?" I ask Sam.

      "Yep, it's almost ready." She leads me to the kitchen, the huge beautiful kitchen. Her mom comes up to me and hugs me.

      "Hi Max it's so nice to meet you, you can call me Amanda." she pulls away from the hug smiling. "I hope your hungry"

       "Starved" I answer smiling. She goes to the oven and takes the lasagna out. She cuts it and serves it.

       "Anthony! Daniel! Dinner is ready!" She yells, Sam's younger brother Anthony comes into the kitchen. Sam and I sit down, Amanda brings us our plates, that had slices of lasagna on them. We put some salad on our plates. I feel a hand pat my shoulder.

      "Glad you could make it Max." Daniel says, sitting down. I smile at him and we all eat and have a fun time.

       "Max I know you don't go to the school, but you should come to the Halloween Party tomorrow night. It will be a lot of fun. My dad is a chaperone. Sam says rolling her eyes at the last part.

       "I would but I don't have a costume." I answer.

      "That's okay, we can go shopping right after dinner and find you one." She offers and looks at Daniel who nods.

      "Okay." I say. We finish eating then Sam and I leave and go to a costume store.

     "If you want you can be Laker girl with me and my friends." Sam offers.

      "No thanks, skirts are not my thing." I say

        "Right, I remember." We continue looking at costumes then there is a Cat Woman one. "Oh what about this one." Sam shows it to me.

       "Sure I'll go try it on" She hands it to me and I go to the dressing room and get into it which took forever. Well the pants did, but I looked great, the costume showed my curves. I walk out and show Sam. She gasps and smiles.

       "Oh my gosh, you look so hot" We laugh. I got back into the changing room and change back into my clothes. I pay for the costume. Sam drives us back to her house. I hug her bye and get into my car and drive to my apartment, when I get there I go to my room and plop down onto my bed, almost immediately falling asleep.

     Next day, Sam had been texting, saying when the party was and blah blah. The party was in 2 hours, so I thought I should get ready. I got ready and curled my hair. I put on some red lipstick. I grab my phone and get into my car and drive to the school. The sun was setting. I get to the school. I put the cat ears on that came with the costume and then the mask. I get out of my car and go inside. The party had started 10 minutes ago. I walk in not seeing Sam or Miguel. I go over to the drink table and get a cup of punch. I look around and my eyes land on 2 boys. One dressed as a necromancer the other dressed as a surgeon. I made eye contact with the surgeon one. I couldn't see his whole face, but I could tell he was really cute. Wait-did I just call him cute? I could feel my face heating up, then his friend looked at me and I could tell they were talking about me. I quickly look away. Then I look towards the door and Miguel walks in. I thought to myself 'Damn it of course he is friends with them' Miguel sees me.

      "Hey Max! Come over here." He shouts 'damn it' I think to myself I take a deep breath and start walking over there. 'It's okay Max, cute boy, you can talk to him, don't be nervous, you've talked to boys before, but this one seems different' I thought to myself as I walked over there "Max this is Demetri and Eli." I shake Demetri's hand first, the necromancer.

        "Hi, I'm Max." I say as I shake Eli's hand. I was starting to get nervous. I look at Demetri. "Nice necromancer costume." I say. He smiles and looks at Miguel.

      "Finally someone who knows what I am." You softly laugh, you could feel Eli's eyes on you. You make eye contact with him.

      "N-nice surgeon costume." I stutter. I blush 

      "T-thank you" he answers stuttering. "Nice Cat Woman costume." he says and looks me up and down." I blush harder.

      "T-thank you, um I'm going to get more punch." before any of them can say anything, I rush over to the drink table and get more punch 'no way, okay I have a crush on him. It's fine I'll get over it in a couple days, maybe' I sigh and take a sip of the punch, I see Sam walk off with a boy. Then Miguel, Demetri, and Eli go out the same way. Daniel goes to, probably after Sam. I see Aisha at the snack table, I smile at her and she smiles back. Sometimes when Sam and I would hang out Aisha would hang out with us too.

         I saw some of the popular girls making fun of her. Because she was eating the Cheeto Puff things. I saw them take a picture of her, then everyone's phones buzz, I didn't because I wasn't part of the school. Everyone started laughing except Aisha, I caught a glimpse of the photo off someone's phone, the picture of Aisha, with a pig nose and stuff. I felt bad for her. She rushes out. I see the girls laughing, Sam was with them but Sam wasn't laughing. I leave too, walking around the hallways. I see Eli and Demetri quickly walking away from a bathroom, Miguel wasn't with them. I made eye contact with Eli, as I walked past them. I see Johnny hanging up pieces of paper. Promoting Cobra Kai and then I see 4 of the popular boys leave a bathroom laughing. They walk past me.

      "Hey hottie." One says as they pass by me, I roll my eyes, Johnny goes into the bathroom quickly, I follow. Miguel was on the floor of the locker room part of the bathroom. He had been beat up,  badly.
