Cobra Kai : Hawk Love Story

Chapter 9

It had been a week since everything went down. I haven't talked to anyone about it except Miguel. Of course Hawk knew now but it seemed like he didn't understand, or maybe didn't believe it. I had told Sam and Robby about, which by the way they are together now. Didn't see that one coming. But some people from Cobra Kia trashed Miyaji Do. It was Hawk, Hawk had also tried beating up Demetri. Cobra Kai was changing him, and not in a good way.
 
        There was a party later, Moon's party. She invited me, her and Hawk broke up a couple days ago. Anyway I was getting ready for the party, cropped top and leggings. I also curled my hair some. I leave my apartment, and go to my car. I drive to Moon's house. I was late for the party but I didn't care. I go inside, I look around, Hawk was sitting on the couch looking sad. I look to what he was looking at. Moon and some girl laughing, kissing each other. Hawk sees me and gets up and walks over to me.

"Hey you look great." He says. His hawk wasn't blue anymore, now it was red.

"Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself." I say. I hung out with him during the party. Then later on Demetri got up on the little stage thing and started talking about Hawk.

"I'd like to make a toast to Eli Moskowitz..." he says and people start whispering to each other. "Oh I'm sorry, some of you might know him as Hawk. But underneath that crazy clown cosplay and whatever type of Manic Panic he dumps in his hair. He's still good old Eli. My binary brother. Well he was my binary brother. You know what he is now?" He asks. "A real zero." People start laughing.

"All right, that's enough Demetri." Hawk says.

"Don't let that angry red hairdo fool you, he's a big softie. We watched every Harry Potter movie together. And he bawled like a baby when Dobby died." People start laughing .

"Demetri stop it." I say softly.

"In the words of Eli's hero, Steve Jobs "I've got one more thing" Have any of you heard of sleep enuresis?" He asks

"Don't" Hawk growls.

"That is the medical term, of course. In the King's English, it's good old-fashioned bed-wetting." He says, people start laughing. "And Eli here is a pro." I look at Hawk who looked embarrassed, I softly grab his hand, he squeezes my hand. "My mom even has a special air mattress for sleepovers, and she called it "Eli's waterbed." Hawk lets go of my hand.

"Screw mercy." He looks at Demetri. "You're a corpse!" Chris one of the members of Miyaji Do stood in his way, then Robby. I hadn't told anyone but I was kind of part of Miyaji Do, I mostly just watched but Daniel said even if I didn't practice I was still part of it. Before anything could happen, sirens went off outside. People start running out of the house, Hawk grabs my hand and we run out. We ran to my car that was parked on the street. I drove him to his house. We sat in my car for a little.

"I'm sorry about what Demetri did." I said softly.

"It wasn't your fault." He says. We sit there in silence until out of no where he puts his fingers under my chin, turning my head to face him then he pressed his lips to mine. Then after a couple seconds, his tongue swiped my lip, I part my lips slightly his tongue going into my mouth. We make out for a few minutes until we both pull away need air. "W-wow I've been wanting to do that for a while now." He says, I blush. He takes my hands in his. "Max, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks.

"Yes Hawk, I'd love to be your girlfriend." I answer he smiles and kisses me softly.

"I should probably get inside, I'll come over to your place tomorrow so we can hang out." He says.

"Okay." I say. He kisses me again, then gets out of my car. I start driving to my apartment, smiling the whole way. Hawk was my boyfriend. I got to my apartment and went to my room, I changed into something comfortable and got into bed. I took me a while to fall asleep but when I did, I dreamt of Hawk. Before I had fallen asleep, I worried a little. Hawk was a Cobra Kai, it was changing him. I was hoping I could change him maybe. I really hope it wouldn't cause problems in our relationship. I knew deep down he was still Eli, the nice quiet boy. I didn't mind that he was Hawk, I just wish he would be nicer.
