it has been a week since the newbies joined the gang. they were quite satisfied and comfortable with their surroundings. it didn't feel like they're in a gang basecamp, it felt like they're home, which made them feel even more comfortable. they also have got along with most of the gang members and everyone has been treating them nicely. the older gang members who were already joining since the old days told the four of them how their parents were back in the days, especially mike. hearing tons of good things about their parents from the gang members made them realize even more how important the silvers is for them, which is why the four of them promised to themselves they will surely continue their parents' legacy and be the best.

ashlyn and seb decided to continue their study at UoU, so their current job right now is with kourtney, where they were asked to do some brainstorming ideas and problem solvings, more like the brain of the gang, since bradley also didn't want them to be too focused on the gang, knowing that ashlyn and seb are really committed to their study, rather than the other two, which is ricky and gina.

both ricky and gina were actually the ones who were trained for self-defense frequently rather than ashlyn and seb, so it was quite beneficial for them. the whole week they have been doing tons of training, but they didn't feel pressured at all, since they have learned basics back then, they just needed to improve their skills. even the trainer in the gang was very satisfied with the both of them.

bradley had been watching the four of them and to say he was satisfied would be an understatement. he was told that the four of them were already learning self defense, but he didn't know they were that good. bradley was relieved than the four new members were as good as the other members, even somehow better than some of them.

they haven't got any calls about any attacks in town, which was good since they have been gone for two months and rest is needed for them. they also haven't heard anything from their rival, the stones. in bradley's mind, he was relieved, but at the same time, he was scared that the stones might attack them at any second. they have increased the security and protection around the house, but he was still scared, knowing how smart the stones are.

he was scared of the stones attacking them again not because he thought he felt the silvers are weak, but he was scared that nini might be traumatized again. she hasn't even been recovering from the accident three years ago, what would happen if the stones attack them again?

nini herself had been locking herself up in her room, or if she's bored, she would go to the garden to get some fresh air. these two places are the only place she would be at.

which is why bradley is currently knocking on her bedroom door softly to check up on her. it was 11.30am, and lunch would come around soon. he wanted to make sure she ate, knowing she didn't have much appetite.

"nini, it's me." bradley said softly

few seconds later the door was opened and he was greeted by nini who looked like she just woke up.

"what are you doing?" he asked

nini turned around, pointing at her bed, signaling that she was just laying down on her bed all day. bradley also saw a book that she's currently reading.

"you're so boring," bradley teased as he took a seat on the bed

nini gave him a smile as she took her notebook and wrote something on it.

"then why are you here?"

"i wanna hang out with my sister who i've been missing for two months, don't you want that?"

"but i didn't miss you."

bradley gave her a fake shocked expression as he put his palm on his chest, "i'm offended."
