a normal person would planned out their life after high school by going to a university or academy, or maybe even pursuing other careers which would probably made them successful.

ricky's, gina's, seb's and ashlyn's case were definitely different. a few days before they were still a university student, despite two out of them were lazy that they intended on quitting, but each of them definitely had plans on what to do with their future. looking at this moment, they're on their way to another part of the city, to have their life changed forever.

from a university student to a gang member

if anyone ever heard about this, they would either laughed it off or asked if they're crazy or not, because, of course, this seems so not normal.

but of course, to their family, it is normal, knowing their family history, the four best friends tried to make everything that they're going to go through seems normal.

gina, ashlyn, and seb were all excited and nervous at the same time, but for ricky, he didn't feel anything at all. he thought he would be happy for once because he's finally free from university, despite him dropping out, but his mind honestly couldn't really process everything.

he's been seeing tons of action movies or basically movies about gangs, has been learning self-defense since he was a kid, and finally all of those will combined in his life. to say he's overwhelmed would be an understatement.

"ricky? you okay? you've been zoning out for a few hours. i thought you're asleep like gina." bradley called him out

ricky blinked his eyes for a few times before coming back to his senses, "yeah, sorry, just had lots of thoughts."

bradley chuckled, "if this is about the gang and everything, i can understand."

ricky sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair, "it's just- i can't believe this is happening. i mean, i'm excited and can't wait for everything, but i think this is too much for me."

"that's normal, don't worry." bradley assured him, "i can't exactly tell you how to solve your feelings because i've been in the gang since basically i was in my mom's stomach, but i hope when you get there later, you can adapt easily and be comfortable. as far as i can remember, no new members have ever been uncomfortable, and knowing that you're excited for this, i think you'll be okay."

"your words helped a lot, actually. no wonder you're the leader." ricky said which makes bradley laughed

"i didn't even expect to get this honor, not even the whole gang. before me there was your dad, then there were this guy but all of us thought he didn't do well, so basically everyone called names and mine was called tons of times. i asked them why and they said because i'm a salrobs, so here i am now."

"that's... interesting." ricky chuckled

bradley shook his head in amusement while keeping his eyes on the road, "anyway, can you wake gina up? we'll arrive in like 5 minutes."

"wait- really? this close to the borderline?" ricky asked in shock

bradley laughed lightly, "ricky, we're gang members, we lived far away from the society."

as expected, the silvers who were on the road from chicago finally arrived at their home five minutes later. to them, it felt so relieving because it's been two months since they haven't been back home. but to the four new recruiters, they felt nervous but excited at the same time.

their thoughts of how the home would look scary would definitely wrong. it was just like another regular huge house, but the area was so secluded that the distance from the front gate to the main house was like three kilometers away. the four of them were in awe by how amazing the house is and they had already thought that they could get used to live in this place.
