i would like to say thank you for waiting! i hope you will like this one because it's kind of hard for me to think of this storyline at first, please, i'm open for feedback so if you have anything to say you can just comment or dm to me!

before you read this chapter, i want to clarify that the ricky in this book will be portrayed by louis partridge and not joshua bassett

here's the thing

i'm not a fan of joshua. if you're wondering, i stopped being a fan even before the blm and his allegations came up. i have my own reasons and i know some of you are a fan of his and i totally don't mind!! i won't judge you for liking him and i hope you won't judge me for not liking him.

this doesn't mean you can't imagine this ricky is portrayed by josh!! you can imagine him being ricky here, depends on your imagination. i choose louis because i thought it would be nice and it sounds interesting to me to have olivia and louis in the same movie/show in the future!!

once again i am totally okay with you guys being a fan of his as long as you don't attack me!! just because i'm not his fan doesn't mean i send hate to him. i honestly don't care about it and you guys shouldn't care much how i'm not a fan of him. i won't start any fanwars bc that's just so useless. if you want to portray josh in this book as ricky, i'm totally okay!!

it was just another windy night in chicago. the silvers are on their mission there for almost two months. their headquarters is in salt lake city, which means they have not been home for almost two months. this has been the longest tine they're gone quite far away from home for a long time. for them, it was normal and okay, but to their leader, it was not.

his little sister is always on his mind.

bradley had been so worried about nini's condition because she kept getting worse and worse. every time he called the headquarters asking about her, the person who answered, kourtney, known as one of nini's closest friends and the one bradley wanted her to take care of nini, said that she rarely eats and stayed in her room every day. she still didn't want to say a word too.

it was so horrible for bradley to hear nini's condition, in addition, the mission that they're doing right now is quite hard because ever since the attack from the stones, they lost a lot of people and they became weaker every single time.

"you know, we really have to recruit more people." carlos stated, his tone was filled with desperation

"well, true. but if we recruit people, it's either a lot of new recruiters but with 'okay' skills, or the opposite." ej suggested

big red sighed as he massaged his forehead with his fingers, "that's the least of our worries. the question is where can we find new recruiters without them knowing that we're the silvers?"

"kidnap them?" ej asked dumbfounded

carlos slapped ej's arm, "that's not how we recruit people, you idiot!"

big red groaned loudly, "geez, ej. how long have you become one of us?"

ej raised his hands in defense, "sorry, just wanted to lighten up the mood."

when ej said that, his eyes motioned carlos and big red towards their leader who's sitting in the corner, facing the window. carlos and big red quickly understood what ej was trying to do.
