CHAPTER 39

4 MONTHS LATER

HAYDIN

I place my hands on my bump, and smiled. A set of bigger hands were on top of mine. " You're glowing cara mia." I placed my hand on his cheek. "They're kicking my ass." Dmitry found out we were having twin girls and he has been overprotective of all  3 of us. 

"I have to leave with my brothers and my dad. We may have found Nora's location." We've been out of hiding for about a week now, and I feel as if we were back to square one. I nodded. "Hurry back, and be safe. Please." He pecked my lips, and stood from the bed. "You two be good for mommy. Daddy will be back soon." I smiled a small smile, and rubbed my belly. "Daddy will be back. He always comes back." I closed my eyes, and willed myself to sleep.

"Spokoynaya nochnaya suka." My eyes opened quickly to an unidentified person standing over me. A cloth was placed over my mouth. I tried kicking and screaming but they had me pinned down." My eyes fluttered shut, and I succumbed to the darkness.

DMITRY

Another fucking dead end! When will this shit end! "Relax D, we will get them. Now you need to get home to your pregnant fiancé." I nodded, and headed towards the car. My phone started ringing. "Mama? What's going on?"

"They took her Dmitry. They have Haydin. Marco went to check on her and he found a cloth with chloroform." I screamed and punched the window out. "Figlio what is it?" I turned to my dad. "They took Haydin. Right from under our noses they took her!" Dad took my phone from me. "Cara mia, listen to me carefully, get everyone out of the house, and to the Underground. We will meet you there." He hung up, and gave me my phone. "We need to keep a clear head if we are going to find her."

"I am going to kill every last one of them if it's the last thing I do."

Don't worry my loves. I am on my way.

HAYDIN

I woke up to a lot of bumping. I felt very woozy. "You didn't tell me she was pregnant! I wouldn't have done what I did if I knew!" It sounded like the person was on the phone. My babies. I have to protect my babies. I felt 4 kicks. "Don't worry my princesses, mommy will protect you with all my heart." The car jerked to a stop. I pushed myself further to the back of the van. The doors snatched open, and in jumped a man I didn't recognize. "I'm sorry miss, but I have orders to follow. I won't drug you for the sake of your child, but if you don't cooperate, I'll be forced to hurt you." Tears streamed down my face. "Please don't.."

He placed a finger up to his lips. "I will get you to safety. Give me time to come up with something." I shook my head. "I don't believe you!" 

"I never harm women and I won't start today. Trust me." He tied my hands up, and pulled me out of the van. "Now listen carefully, I'm sure you're being looked for as we speak. She will call him, it won't be a long call, but it should give me enough time to get him your location." We walked into a building. "Keep cool until she has me take you to your chamber." I was scared shitless, but I told myself to stay calm. Dmitry will find me. He will kill her and then everything will be over. 

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the traitor of the family." Nora appeared out of the dark. I will not show her my fear. "Nora, how nice to see you." She looked down at my stomach. "Someone's been getting busy." She pulled out her phone, and put it on loud speaker. "Who is this?" My sweet sweet Dmitry. "You want to see your precious woman and child again, you will meet me at the address my right hand has sent to you. Come alone." She hung up and looked back at me. "Looks like you'll be having a little reunion soon."

DMITRY

I sat with Fonze, my hacker trying to trace the call I just received. "We need to get this location and fast. Haydin is probably scared out of her mind there." My phone vibrated. "Dad, look at what I just received." I showed him my phone. "She doesn't have much time and I am not one to harm a woman. The address is 720 w goldcrest lane. HURRY!"

I grabbed my gun, and silencer. "We need to come heavily loaded with weapons and men." 

My mom walked in. "I am coming with and I will not take no for an answer. My daughter and grandbabies are in danger." Who was I to stop an angry nonna? "Okay, mom, dad, you go with Fonze and Gio. Cam and Kai, you're with me. Artemis, Nico, Cheech, snipers." I cocked my gun. "This ends tonight."
