- Bursting through my front door like a train on collision course, I slammed the door behind me so violently I felt the whole house shake. I locked the door, making sure two use the double bolts instead of one before I let my bag drop to the floor as I fumbled for the CD that I kept buried under the junk of stuff I carried inside.
My heart was a beating drum, adrenaline coursing through my veins from what happened mere minutes ago. I couldn't wrap my head around how close he was, Hye was, how I could feel his breath on my skin, his words tickling at my ears. I felt disgusting, itchy, and in desperate need to shower but I knew watching the tape was the most important thing right now.
From Hye's constant demeaning, verbal assaults to get his way, I hate to say he won. He scared me, scared me so bad that everything inside me was rattled— my bones, my veins, my brain. I couldn't focus on anything during the car ride home, my hands were shaking so terribly, I thought I needed to pull over to calm myself but as I thought about pulling over, I was terrified he was just going to show up out of nowhere and stalk me so I kept driving until I got home.
And here I was, stumbling over my sofa and coffee table, trying to get to the cd player by the tv. I turned on the box quickly before sliding the cd into the player and grabbing the remote, tuning it to the certain HDMI.
Static filled the screen at first, the sound creating an eerie feeling around my home that sent chills up my spine. I shook it off though and zeroed my attention on the screen waiting for the grey and black to fade into color, something I could actually watch.
Soon enough, the screen blurred out into a video.
I didn't recognize the picture or what was happening in the scene but eventually I saw my face.
My glasses were on, a smile light up on my face, a perfect, pink tint rimmed my cheeks— I looked happy, so happy that it looked like I was on the edge of the world. The camera wasn't facing who was recording but I knew who it was and it hit me where I was at too.

I could tell from when flowers bloomed spring. It created an array of just colors around you, it made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It was my favorite place to go back in the day, my hideaway from the world when I just needed a second breathe and a second to be me.
"Y/n!!!" Hye screamed my name, his voice bouncing off the walls of the clouds that surrounded us. We were having a picnic, you could tell by the checkered blanket under us and the baskets surrounding us.
We were...happy.
Suddenly he appeared in the frame, his body towering over mine. I looked almost petite below him but still, he leaned down and pressed a kiss to my mouth, long and passionate, just like the first time.
