(it's my birthday week!!!!!!)

hey guys, ik ik ik ive been gone but a lot has been going on per usual.

I started a new book that you should definitely check out after you read this chapter bc it's my favorite thing!!!

most importantly, i was thinking about how i wanted to end this book since we are basically at the end of the line. this is part one of the book finale - there will be a part two and then an epilogue. i don't want you guys to think it was so abrupt but i've been thinking about this for a while now and yes, i also know i've been holding out on you guys, so i hope these final chapters make up for it.

with that being said,

let's fucking do it.

(this is semi edited bc i got a headache lol)

Dwindling days and darker nights sent us all on a crash course into the morning of the school play, the most important day for Mr. Chung and the whole school. Flyers, posters, emails, and texts had been sent weeks in advance, practices were becoming less frequent all up to today, and the anxiety buzzing between students began to absolutely peak.

I was ready to get this show on the road and over with and it wasn't like I had an important role, I was just a handmaiden who happened to be in the chamber in the briefest moments before Romeo and Julio could off themselves.

Nothing serious, just a bystander at most.

Actually, a bystander was all I'd been these past weeks.

Meaning I'd been a bystander just like everyone around the school when it came to Bae and Jimin. Their relationship had turned completely sour in the matter of days after our last encounter in the parking lot. He was cold to her and she was desperate for him sort of like how he was with me— very hot and then very cold. I didn't know what meant or what was happening, how one day he could kiss her and watch me from across the hall as he did and then push her away and try his best to touch me whenever or wherever he could.

As long as we were in the same room, tension always boiled between us whether it was me talking to some guy and him seething across the classroom before downright attacking them hard enough that they wouldn't ever speak to me again or him wrapping his arms around Bae and forcing me to run away like a little, pathetical lamb.

It was a game we were playing with each other, one would push and then the other would pull but nothing would happen nor would anything change. We still didn't speak to each other only forced to by the play or other school obligations, and only glances and painful stares. Like said, just a bystander in a disastrous situation.
